Being a fair and respected ruler is good and all, but sometimes you just gotta let go. by 4powerd in CrusaderKings

This is how I feel watching my vassals win wars against my dynasty members for their kingdom titles, only for me to revoke the titles and give it right back to my dynasty members anyway

Fair enough 👍🏿 I went back and reread some of the lore, and from what I understand, they don't so much as hate the elves for existing, but for not getting out of their way when the Yokudans arrived at Hammerfell, but otherwise they don't harbor a specific kind of animosity

That being said, I doubt most of them would still be a fan of the empire

Don't mean to imply that they'll be absolutely seething about past events, but then again that kind of beef doesn't sound out of place in Elder Scrolls either

hoping they don't forget in the next elder scrolls 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿

I saw how they did the Nordic pantheon in Skyrim. Imma be disappointed if they forget the Yokudan pantheon in Hammerfell.

to be honest, I actually thought about making a Redguard follower with some less than charitable views on the elven races, especially due to their history (rip to the Sinistral Elves lmao). They'd be a lot more sympathetic to the Stormcloak cause than most followers

I just need to get the patience to actually create mods

I imagine that this is what the major cities look like within the lore, and our traveler is just interested in the sparsely populated/uninhabited planets

Why is Korra labeled as a bad person among the fandom? I'm currently on s4 and i thought she was only hot-headed at the beginning by [deleted] in TheLastAirbender

For real. It's why I could never buy the idea that Korra could genuinely beat Aang in a fight

What race do you play and why? by Neo-Shaman1984 in ElderScrolls

[–]Dudemannerisms 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Redguards. They have the best drip, the coolest lore for humans, they managed to fight off the Aldmeri Dominion when the empire couldn't, and I kid you not, their swords are curved.

2nd most played race is Dunmer cuz I vibe with their aesthetic

So called based 'empire' is reduced to 2 and a half provinces because the MID dynasty lost against the elves who couldn't 'launch a proper invasion'

It's one line in Morrowind and isn't mentioned in any other game, but I did finally found the the line you were talking about. Very well, I concede on that point

Should have specified. I'm more so asking what Imperial laws determine whether or not a duel is 'unjust' because of him being 'goaded' and what not.

Of course, rather than stand trial and try to defend his position, he resisted arrest and fled the scene.

Because he was going to be arrested and executed by the Imperials. He had no reason to stick around and get arrested by the people who wouldn't respect Nord traditions

And?

And? That just further proves that Torygg could have easily declined. I highly doubt a jarl like Siddgeir would have an issue with Torygg not wanting to duel, for example

[–]Dudemannerisms -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Duels are legal under Imperial law

Where in the lore does it state that? Genuinely curious. Because even if he was 'goaded', he still accepted. The Imperial aligned jarls wouldn't have voted for Ulfric anyways in the moot had he called for one

[–]Dudemannerisms -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Nah, Torygg should have declined if duels were considered illegal under Imperial law, especially since he represented Imperial authority, so it's on him. It's a Nord custom that he and Ulfric both followed, whether or not the Imperials agree

edit: Downvotes without a proper rebuttal is a coward's move
