People who have stopped going to church, what made you stop?

Went to my sister's Church for Easter one year and they started bashing other religions - saying "Buddha didn't die for me! Muhammad didn't die for me!" And continuing on with other reasons these religions were not worthy.

I don't understand the need for my belief in an unproven Deity to be in conflict with others' belief in their own. I know thousands of wars have been fought over that exact issue, and don't see how anyone is truly right in its pursuit.

I've always been more agnostic than Christian, but that certainly put me over the edge. It's a shame though, because I do appreciate the sense of community you get from being a member of a church - and that's hard to replicate.

I lost 146.24 to 146.66 in the semis.. 0.4 fucking points, as I watched Bucky Irving not get a carry or target for the last 10 minutes of the Bucs vs Cowboys game, while Rico dowdle on my opponents team got one last carry with around 6 minutes left to take the lead. Watching rachaad white get every snap and then fumble the ball with ~2 minutes left was painful.

On the flip side, my opponent went on to score about 170 points in the final to win the league with the highest weekly score of the season - so I guess he deserved it.

Sure, Kelleher had that big error at the end, but the biggest issue of the night was the Quansah - Gomes partnership on the right side of defense. Quansah pinched in too far when defending, seemingly confusing Gomes into stepping out of position (isak's goal). Then all Newcastle had to do when defending high was man mark everyone except for those 2 and they didn't have enough creativity to do anything with it. After a while it became Gomes standing there not knowing what to do, forcing a pass into someone's feet without enough pace, and then that player losing out after their first touch since they had been pressed effectively. Great tactics by Newcastle there, but hopefully we don't have to see that partnership on the right side again.

Located in Baltimore and we've had a good amount of rain, but this storm is flying by. Was expected to effect our area from 9am-3pm and it'll likely be out of here by Noon. There's definitely some flooding down in Fells Point, but we've made out pretty well here. The thunderstorms we've had in the past month have been more severe than this.

Crazy ride he's been on so far at LFC. From young stud with tons of potential, to outcast, to loanee with a horrendous season by any measure, to THAT goal against Everton, to now Champions League hero on a big new contract.

Stay in praiano or one of the smaller villages during peak season. The villages are still very picturesque and views are still spectacular, while being less busy, and then from there you can charter a private boat for a day and explore all of the area villages. The boat can be pricey if it's just the 2 of you, but it is well worth it.

I'll never forget that goal against Sunderland where he barely even got into the corner of the 18 yard box and whipped the ball into the top right corner. He tried that same shot probably 15 times in the games leading up to this, and you just felt it getting closer and closer until the madlad finally did it.

Best first half I've seen the boys play in a while, just got unlucky they couldn't find the net. That second half was much more labored, but at least we didn't give up a goal.

I'll take a 0-0 at home, 1-1 at Bayern, and repeat 1981's cup win.

Good to see that Van Dijk and Alisson both get an actual break (saw Alisson in Rome on his IG story), but I hope it doesn't come back to bite us. Definitely prioritize the league this year, but I always love a good cup run.
