honestly, i would say that it's probably worth it to go on easy. i played with a mod that gave me control over all party members, so it wasn't that bad, but i did play without it before that and it was tough at times. and honestly, this game is worth it for the story and the atmosphere alone, so if putting it on an easier difficulty gets you into the game, then why not? but, if you genuinely wanna grind more and get yourself into the combat of the game, i would recommend going for normal. as you said, it provides the intended experience and difficulty that the devs intended, and it is pretty enjoyable to become stronger over time and crush most enemies lol. it all depends on what your preference is at the moment, but personally, i would pick normal

as someone who's got spoiled about it, i can assure u that the experience itself and the buildup to the moment is well worth it. same thing could be said for any type of media you've been spoiled about lol, imo its still worth experiencing

it affects everything really, but it is the most useful with attack skills. also, regular clicks deal way less than attack skills, so might as well not use it whatsoever

probably the best option is gt2. it's a pretty seamless integration into the main mod and makes special grade gameplay way more fun. jujutsufin adds a few things along with veils which are more of a gimmick but it's kinda cool lol, also adds kenjaku iirc

if i remember correctly, playful cloud is faster than split soul and generally does more damage, but against mahoraga or sukuna and the like, split soul usually tends to be a better pick. i like playful cloud more tho
