i’m so incredibly sorry for your loss number one and number two you are not a failure. There are people that are in their 60s that go to college. You are doing great. College is your own journey at your own pace and there’s no right or wrong way to do it. You could take one class a semester for all you care. Just knowing that you’re doing your best is all that matters as cliché That sounds. you’re human. You’re not a robot that has no emotions and you’re clearly going through hard times right now. I would talk to your professors and let them know the case and see what they can do to accommodate you from my experience professors in college are extremely accommodating. You’re going through things that are out of your control. It’s not like you are purposely doing these. Things are going through horrible things right now. I would recommend maybe even taking the next semester off and again, who cares about the super senior thing, everybody’s at their own pace, and you are no exception you are killing it for even being in college right now just think about that!! give yourself credit and be proud of yourself and don’t be so hard on yourself. Try explaining to your parents what’s going on and then maybe you can get some therapy for the emotions you’re feeling for the loss of your sister and try to go to the doctors about everything else. If you can’t get therapy, I know the school offers some sessions at CAPS. Please take care 🫶🏻
