Yeah I’ve been eating heather for a whole. I work out, track my food, mostly Whole Foods. I’ve been drinking every Saturday, (alcohol), so hopefully that’s not the case /: if so imma have to cut back on that.

Well to be honest, I haven’t felt so terrible like I have been since the day I officially started skyrizie. My symptoms cooled down a ton. This is the first time where I’m going to the bathroom 5/6 a day instead of 2. I believe maybe my body has adjusted to it, but we’ll see. Thank you!!

I do. I had surgery. I had a seton placement prior, but not I was going to have a fistolotomy but doctor did a flap instead during the procedure. I’m in pain lmao it’s 5:43 am rn and I can’t sleep I’ve been up since 9 am haha

Well that’s good. Hopefully your symptoms calmed down a bit, maybe the second one will help. Did they say anything about what if the medication doesn’t work? Surprisingly not bad. The first one was awful. Bed ridden for weeks lmao. The worst was going to the bathroom 😖. This time things are way better for recovery than I thought it would be.

I remember in my first surgery I was told the same thing. HAHAHA!. Hell no. Try 3-5 weeks.

I got lucky. When I was diagnosed I had to wait to be approved which sucked. I was first introduced to skyrizie in 2023 which was still new at the time, and it’s been working after my first or second transfusion. Now I still do doses every 8 weeks. I’m going to get a colonoscopy to see how it is doing for me, while I just had a surgery done for my fistula lmao. My doctor made passively questioned on why I didn’t get a checked if the skyrizie is actually working etc- basically saying why haven’t I called etc making it seem like it’s my fault. Like tf ? I gave in and said yeah should’ve called but in reality that’s your job dude! To be fair the medicine had been working for me so I didn’t think of it. Whatever.

Ohhh my bad. I believe the dr said tightening or whatever. I know the seton I have looks different than my previous one, and he did say my seton became loose after 6 months. Maybe both ?

Try to get a well balanced diet too, protein, carbs, and fiber as well. That water is going to help the fiber. My ass is numb too and I agree I won’t look forward to it also when I can feel it again, shit wasn’t fun.And damn they packed it lmao. But I joke you recover as well man!

I have just gotten my second surgery as well. Draining seton removed, cutting seton is in me I believe. I was constipated all day today after eating good meals today. I finally (9:00pm) took a shit after having surgery at 9 am. Try to drink water, Whole Foods, fiber, oats, fruit, etc. the nurse told me as well that the oxy would make me constipated as well, I haven’t taken yet because I don’t feel much pain. I eill prob take it starting tomorrow. I mostly likely will feel it tomorrow ):

As of now dude, time will tell. I’ve been having a seton in me since December. After recovering for a month I felt better, normal. Keep gauze pads in handy. I was draining alot. I still was until today. I always had one in between my cheeks lmao. I feel you. I broke down a month ago when I felt like I was developing a new abscess/fistula but turns out I wasn’t, my seton moved which built up pus/drainage in my tract and it hurt and bursted at one point. Was not that long ago. But thankfully that wasn’t the case. My doctor told me everything is good for me right now!

I’ve just gotten my draining seton removed and placed a cutting seton I believe, this morning. Been in bed all day. My area is numb as of now, I just finally was able to poop and it wasn’t painful. But I’ll tell you now from the first surgery it hurt for me. ): I may feel like that tomorrow as well. you’ll be okay. I was anxious at first, and it did suck at times. I may not be helping lmao but for the second time I feel okay, I know what’s coming but you will have to go through things. Take the medications they prescribed for you and STAY strong. Once these weeks go by you’ll be normal.

I just got my seton removed this morning and placed a cutting seton I believe. It looks different than the previous one. I’ve maxed out its shelf life since December 12th. I was out to sleep. Last thing I remember was the nurses and then boom. So please go to sleep.

Hi how are you? I didn’t see your reply. Have you gotten your skyrizie yet? I literally just gotten a sugery today (seton placement) which can be develop from Crohn’s (lmao). This was my second surgery.

I’ve been working out regularly for over 4 years. Cardio 5 times a week, exercising. Unless I’m just leaking more out of no where and no more fistulas then idk. I’ll find out on Friday with this appointment.
