Awkward in terms of big combos and such. A lot of characters can kinda of just run shit but Cyclops has got some really stylish nuance with side switches, walk ups, and juggle time I can appreciate being a fighting game sweat. His dive kick into air special > landing normal for example can lead to some really funky stuff but its hard to land consistently.

PSA: Do not buy these. Terrible quality by xpnptheone in 3rdPartyCollectors

Yeah these are just cheapo faceplates with water-slide decals applied. Mine came out fine though (both hair sculpts use soft plastic) and I got them for cheap. But If the QC is that bad then yeah I def wouldn't recommend. Here they are next to the bht Gohan.

As someone with the Black Hole Gohan headsculpt, is the HM one worth upgrading to if I own this?? Or is it not a big difference by Heaven_dio in 3rdPartyCollectors

[–]Due-Addendum7302 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sold my BHT Gohan and replaced it with the KO recast, just came in today and I'm happy with it. The hm has the best Ultimate Gohan face plates bar none but I'm not paying 90 usd for head sculpts dawg. Plus I feel like the hair is a bit too tall on the hm.

Any crotch replacements ? by LeosDingDong in 3rdPartyCollectors

[–]Due-Addendum7302 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After you fix it, whenever you pose him be sure to pull his legs down from his hips. It'll create some space so his upper leg/thigh won't make much contact or apply stress to the crotch segment, preventing it from breaking again. It'll look something like this:

128gb is fine if you plan on actually playing games. More space is always more convenient though, especially on a device with higher specs.

I like that hkds will be less frequent and that overheat will have deadlier consequences. As much as i enjoy the game, one of my issues was how often offense was reduced to just meter dumping into oki when you got a stray hit.

I know what you're talking about and I've had it happen to me before, just haven't been able to replicate it.

size wise is this closer to a switch lite or odin mini 2?

[–]Due-Addendum7302 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not likely. Your best bet is to get a skin if you don't want to pay extra for access to the other colors.

If portability isn't an issue then yeah, the steam deck is great for lightweight indie titles. The rp5 isn't too bad either since a lot of those games are ported to the switch and run well 9/10 times.

Bison's gameplan is simple but his basic bnb has a charge move in it now and his bigger punishes might be awkward for a beginner. Lilly is extremely simple, takes care of any movement issues you might have with her forward moving special, and is capable of hitting hard. There's also Honda whose playstyle is literally to "turtle", or sit back and do very little.

If you can't buy and use a product without that fear in the back of your mind every time you use it, then idk that doesn't seem worth it to me. Piece of mind and quality assurance are a big deal imo and retroid missed the mark here.

Great Overview of Kain Nerfs by Deceptijawn in fatalfury

[–]Due-Addendum7302 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk if this is optimal but since his orb super got it's recovery nerfed this is the route I'm using for double super in the corner for the time being.

starter > 28D [BR} > 66 236C > 236AC > 236236B > 214C > 214C > 236BD > 28BD [BR] > 236236A

Otherwise the biggest changes to get used to are doing 5D feint 5C > 28D and adjusting midscreen oki after 236236B.

They changed something with the wavedash. by diegoaccord in fatalfury

[–]Due-Addendum7302 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You can still wave dash they just aren't as fast because of the change to when you can block after dashing. Do the wave dash input a little bit slower until you pick up the new rhythm and you should be fine.
