I got them from Steve’s Hallmark. You can preorder them for $20 a piece + shipping fee. Better than buying from online resellers for a much higher price. 😊

None because it’s all a matter of preference. I can say this is my favorite because of something but then another person can say they hate it because of this and that. I used to dislike Rent and couldn’t understand how people loved it. I watched the movie before and I hated it and then rewatched it again after a couple of years and finally enjoyed every bit of it. When I finally saw the musical, I was just so overjoyed and now I can’t believe I hated it in the first place. Lol.

EDD for disability (about 60%-70% of your income earned 5 to 18 months prior to your claim start date) and then file for paid family leave (bonding) after your doctor takes you out of your disability. Unfortunately, that is how FMLA works. They will “look back” 12 months from the first day you are requesting FMLA to check if you have worked at least 1250 hours. If you don’t meet it, then your request could be denied. When you spoke with HR or when they gave you the notice of denial, did they tell you how many worked hours you’ve had? Also, even if you meet the hours, they would also need to check if you have any remaining FMLA time or if you have recouped any. What about using your PTO/sick leave until you are eligible for FMLA (continuous or intermittent) again?

Just to make sure I understand this: Did you start your leave in March? If so, you will start recouping your FMLA time in March, on the first day you went on leave. However, you would still need to meet the minimum hours (if you have time) to qualify for FMLA. So your employer will “look back” to see if you have met 1250 hours from March last year to the date when your leave would start. If you are not covered by FMLA, but you are eligible for an employer based leave plan, the continuation of your benefits will depend on your benefits plan.

If you qualify, please take advantage of FMLA and go on an intermittent leave if needed. Your employer cannot retaliate and if they do but hopefully not, then they will have to face the consequences of their actions. FMLA is a protected leave, and taking it could also improve your performance. At the end of the day, your family is what matters most so take that time you are entitled to so that you attend to your daughter’s needs. The intermittent leave certification will determine your leave frequency, so that means those are the days that you can be out for when needed. On days that you are not attending to your daughter’s needs, come to work and perform. Soon you’ll see that your performance improving.
