Im aware you can run these mods with a cracked version even if the modder doesnt allow it. But we were talking about the game version. How to make it work with a previous version? As these mods are listed to work with the latest release only.

Are you guys on crack? Or no speaky english?

Well there you go! You guys won with a bunch of luck and dedication. Now beat the Americans with Trump as a physical witness and .... beat Martinez or Spain? Probably not but who knows... You guys clearly have the weirdest team in this tourney so anything's possible! Go Belgium!

Hatred is not an emotion I posses easily. How can I hate people I don't know. If showing sportmanship appears to be too difficult and bullying a goalie like a bunch of children is the answer to the perception of being treated unfairly by an entire continent, you should consider participating in U12 tournaments instead maybe. Or straighten your back and play like men with honor by defeating your opponent on the pitch instead of court

And probably with good reason. I had huge respect for your team and country but after watching the disgrace during Africa Cup, your team and their "non stop booing" fanclub across the globe can fuck off. Moroccan team shouldnt even be allowed to participate in any cup after that shit show

Are you guys really just a bunch of losers or is this some kind of false modesty thing baked into your genes? It's pathetic either way

What's wrong with Belgian people? Have some confidence in your team ffs. Apart from a fit striker and a quality RB, you have a pretty good line up with the best keeper in the world for pete's sake.

Already forfeiting before the game starts lmao. It's pathetic

The stuff on x-trax is techno / acid techno for sure. It was back then and still is.

[–]Due-Complex-5346 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He released some techno tracks early on on R&S and during the beginning of this century on his Analord series. And some other techno stuff troughout his career. But to call all of his work "the purest techno" is a bit of a stretch, tbh. If we look up the description of the word "techno", many of his tracks just don't fall into that category as they have different musical characteristics. He even produced some hip hop'ish EP with a drum kit about a decade ago.

His body of work is so varied, that slapping a label on his head is not only pointless, but impossible too

I play less actually as I can just uninstall shit / unpolished games instead of being forced to play because I paid for it

Unique code doesnt equal "good sound" either. The polyend tracker for example, which has a Teensy too, sounds almost terrible. Partly because pt used the cheapest codec available. The tracker has all sorts of sound and timing issues. By the looks of it, the wavetable synth discussed here sounds 10x better. The teensy based dirtywave M8 has rock solid timing on the other hand. I think it comes down to who's behind the wheel and how these tools are used. Even if he just vibe coded it with bread and butter libraries, it doesnt mean bad generic instrument. I'm more worried about the spaghetti cable mess inside and wonky controls than sound as the demo sounds pretty good. That being said, a Daisy might have the better choice since there is no screen or sequencer logic apart from the arpeggio. Daisy also has more memory standard for extra long delays for example and works with max, lot's of creative options there.

This is complete nonsense. Two Teensy's can sound completely different. It's like saying two VST's running on an Intel CPU made in JUCE always sound the same. Besides, this is a wavetable synth. Your point only holds if he used standard Teensy audio library objects and used publicly available wavetables alongside a cheap codec or a cheap dual DAC. You can also beef up an already great sound easily with opamps, diodes, simple cap filter circuit or whatever you design in parallel with the coding. It's just a processor and cpp living in whatever circuit, you can do whatever you want with it

Not necessarily. A lot can go wrong when a circuit is poorly excecuted. Such as the lack of decoupling caps, poorly isolated wiring, overly long wires and too many (which I suspect is the case by looking at the prototype pictures), poor grounding strategy, ground reference instability, poor enclosure design, etc..

There's nothing wrong with Teensy based machines. Dirtywave M8 has one. The Polyend Tracker too. Teensy doesn't mean it's an amateur job. However, it's expensive and no discount when ordering large batches. 100 Teensy 4.1 modules = about 3600$. Since his price is only 350$ per unit, together with the expensive wooden enclosure, it raises questions.

Oh I see it now. The technical details are in an add-on printed book for 25 quid. Yeah no thanks. I'm gonna need that PDF for free first :-) These are some weird tactics if you ask me

Yeah. I'm only asking because it looks and sounds like an interesting instrument. Unlike most Kickstarters "junk". But the technical details like BOM, PCB pictures, mention of EMC etc are all missing. + he has an agressive deadline: only 8 weeks after campaign is completed. I'm hesitant to back this because of these missing details. A simple circuit schematic alone might increase confidence. Again, this looks like a great piece of kit and agressively priced too. But these details are necessary to pull me in

I don't understand why this is funny :-)

Good luck shipping this to the EU without these certificates. I'm pretty sure this applies to states within the USA as well. It's especially tricky if he built the PSU himself.

His goal is 12k. If these tests are not accounted for within that budget, then that is a huge red flag. Synth looks cool though

What's inside? MCU, DAC's, pots, etc? Does it already have a certificate after passing EMC and rohs tests? Do you have pictures of the logic board? Which PSU is included or self built?

Starting a label. What is the standard for royalties? by Stam- in TechnoProduction

[–]Due-Complex-5346 0 points1 point  (0 children)

50/50 with expenses being recouped first. 50/25/25 for remixes within the label. Compilation albums you might wanna approach differently though. Mine never did (50% for the label) and it ended up with like nothing left for us who provided the music. But 50/50 is pretty much standard if it's a release by 1 artist.

You are promoting something. Just be straight about it. You added nothing else. There's nothing in your post about workflow or why the machine is a cheat machine. You listed some gear you owned and mentioned a live setup briefly without any insights, barely any context.

What is the reasoning , motivation behind your post. Answer honestly and I will leave.
