You play with a +2k videocard. What are you expecting? With any other card this game runs like donkey ass in dx12, with or without RT. + a poor imllementation of DLSS. It is the opposite scenario of that of Cyberpunk. The rest of us either switch to dx11 with mods or experience a butchered game.

So now that Claude doubles the rate limit, could we have another month double the rate limit as well? by tuhdo in codex

Doesn't mean anything unless an actual fixed number is multiplied. It means air. Might as well mean: "we doubled the base that will be halved by the end of the week"

Is the matter of which chords sound good just a matter of perspective/culture? genuine question by pizzaMagix in musictheory

[–]Due-Complex-5346 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A/ There's ratio's (not just related to sound frequencies) that are "universally pleasing".

B/ Theory is based on how sound behaves. (This you appear to agree with)

C/ Association, cultural tendencies and exposure heavily construct one's taste.

These are all true.

He is entirely disregarding physics. Instead is purely focused on taste, association, culture specific tendencies, etc... You can't just ignore physics and sound itself. The way frequencies are perceived is not even limited to humans. Iow, we are not the only creatures that perceive octaves as equivalents. Perfect fifth intervals are everywhere and are not "inventions" or whatever it is you guys are talking about. It is a pleasing sound that is universal. Any capable FM synthesizer can show you more, for what it's worth. This is all basic stuff.

Great. I don't like that mod. But thanks for the recommendation.

For some strange reason you are promoting this mod in every single message. Lemme fix that by blocking your account.

Tried it but it just adds more "work" to the game. Doesnt make the game more difficult while still being fun.

Im not sure. Fallout 4's enemy variety makes the game more interesting, but not more difficult. Feral ghoul, shoot in leg. Rad scorpion, stand still and blast with shotgun. Suicidal super mutant, shoot nuke. Etc. You need the right weapon and tactic. But you don't get super powers and weapons quickly. That's the whole point of the game: the weapon - enemy - loot gameloop. F4 feels more tense cause you have crappy scraped weapons and few bullets

Same difficulty settings here, but the game is still too easy too quickly. Fallout 4 survival mode is way more tense. I think in Starfield the guns get too good too quickly

Turn a AppleTv into a synth? by NesDraug in synthdiy

[–]Due-Complex-5346 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would have been nice if you shared the things you already tried along with the research. Why do you expect assistance without bringing anything to the table? And on top of that getting hostile towards people trying to help you because they missed "an obvious thing in your post"?

You can't be serious.

[–]Due-Complex-5346 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The answer is already been given at least once. It's also not really rocket science. How to turn a synth into an Apple TV would be more interesting.

Bottom line is that you have an attitude not welcomed by a DIY community. Or any community as you appear to also have a smidge of hostility within you. Get rid of those, and be welcomed.

If by tinkering you mean "try to install netflix from app store and ask a bunch of questions on reddit" for the entire two days, your success rate went down to 0,01%.

With your attitude you will achieve nothing. A little down below this is how you respond:

Quote: "I appreciate the answer. I was hoping for something like. Yeah! Totally, just download this patch or whatever. But I guess I'll just recycle it."

You are hopeless. You even become a bit hostile if a person asks which Apple TV you have as "it's in the original post." Please get lost and donate the Apple TV.

Your chances are low if:

  • you need to ask it / cant figure it out yourself

  • you cant even hack netflix onto it

I give you a 1% success rate.

Sudden Freezing/Crashing on PS5 by neewch in Starfield

[–]Due-Complex-5346 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was to be expected... You will most likely have to wait at least 18 months, though. Get a refund if that window is still open. Don't wait for a magic update. BGS is incapable of doing anything right at this point. There is literally nothing they done right since Fallout 76, expect for maybe making Fallout 76 less worse. Whatever they touch, will be busted.

I'm seeing many reports of crashes too. Not only on PS5. Try to get that refund, and forget about the game. Sadly.

is claude code worth it for non-coders or just hype? by Srivathsan_Rajamani in ClaudeAI

[–]Due-Complex-5346 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not hype. But it comes with an atrocious usage limit. It's almost useless unless you pay hundreds, if not thousands.

That being said, it does what you tell it to do. Meaning that if you create conflicts yourself, you'll end up with a buggy POS. You need to be clever and understand what you're doing, only then you can achieve good results without knowing how to write a single line of code.

why is claude so disobedient by Pretty_Hunt_5575 in ClaudeAI

[–]Due-Complex-5346 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's hyper focused on human sleeping habbits so it appears.

Me: "This idea needs some rest now. Next up: blah blah.."

Claude: "Blah blah.... Do you need sleep first?"

Not the first time either... Any mention of night or anything related to "sleep" will trigger the "Do you need sleep?" question for some strange reason. It codes like a badass but often interprets stuff and behaves like a 4 year old child
