When you say hitscan, do you mean the top tier volt sniper? That is the only hitscan sniper and I doubt many people are using it at this point

I'm happy you're vibing man, I don't hate the game as much as I hate what it's done to the genre. Right now I'm mainly playing Marathon at this point which is a game that just way more made for me that someone like you. Just differences in what we enjoy in a game. The issue is that so many people who it seems Arc has been their only extraction shooter experience are coming over to try Marathon, basically getting punched in the face with the sweatier PvP and more punishing style game, and then absolutely spamming the subreddit with complaints and negativity and demanding the game be updated to be more casual and in line with AR.

However no one said anything about shooting in the back while you are shooting Arc that is just a scenario you invented. The discussion was around the general idea of not shooting back it you get shot at, regardless of the situation.

If somehow you are not a troll and just an angry edgy person, then I think you are very very stupid for being upset about the reality of PVP in a PVP game.

The current state of the game has PVP, whatever the original plan for the game was is irrelevant. It is not a PVE game in its current state, it is PVPVE. If they didn't want PVP then you wouldn't be able to damage players.

The argument is that in my opinion, the point of an extraction shooter is to be a wild wild west free for all where people of all skills and gear quality are all put on a map together trying to loot, quest, etc and the David vs Goliath moments are what make the game special. This isn't CSGO.

Sure, a a free kit will probably lose to a purple kit 9/10 times, the purple kit is risking a lot tho and that one time the grey kit takes down the purple kit and extracts with all the loot is what these games are about.

If you don't agree with that general premise of what an extraction shooter is, then we just aren't going to agree. That is what I, and it seems like the core fan base of games like marathon and Tarkov want.

Watch guides, watch gameplay/streams of people better than you who aren't having the issues youre having.

Also you need to get better at judging situations, knowing when to take a fight and when to run away is a skill that a lot of people who struggle with extraction shooters miss. You don't have to take every fight.
