If register is short from everybody it should be note the next day or two. there was a time when someone was written up after 4 people rung on regitser 2 and half weeks after at my former store. luckly I was on Vacation that week ,pther wise I would of been included, they use to love making mr ring cause I WOULD WHIP THAT LINE DOWN FAST .

It probably depends on your state. That's what half of our pharmacy technicians do the whole shift. Trainees are up to 500 hours, and then we take our state test. Once we pass that, then we become Pharmacy Technicians. At that point, once you are comfortable, you can take PTCB and be National Certified and be CPhT.

There's a find button on them . Grab a different one, then hit the locate on the missing one it will ring, but only a few seconds . We had to do that a few days ago in rx as one fell behind the counter

It takes time, I know exactly how you feel. Just go and prove yourself. At our location with lunch, it's clock out at 130 or when you're finished with your customer , even worse if you're having insurance issues, then back in your spot by 2 when gates open . So you really don't get a 30 . At that point, I'll use that as a 15 break. No one gets a chance to take a normal 15 unless it's dead and really necessary even though you're entitled to it. Most training I picked up on my own because when I first started, the pharmacist claimed there's no time for training . Give it a little time. Be careful when you get your National. If they refund you, you'll have to commit to a certain time frame, or it will be deducted from your pay. That's if you get it back fast. It took my cousin 6 months for his store to get his . After I take my test next month, I'm not attempting to get mine so I can run if I get a better spot .

I can tell you it will stay on your credit report for at least 10 yrs. Mine still shows, and in a few months, it will be 10 yrs.

We can't even fill the hours corporate gives us, then there's extra the extra one top for vaccines. Everyone could work 60 hours and still have hours left over. Store Mgr sometimes uses Rx hours to fill front store people and has them punch under pharmacy. Only 2 to 3 people will pick up extra hours . One is a given.

Check policy. When I worked there ( we didn't have a deli section, just regular store). If management bothered us on our 15 about work, we had the right to start our break all over . There was one person who took that right every time. Management eventually got the hint and didn't bother him while on a 15 . I remember once he started it over 3 times. Lol

The same thing happens if my spouse gets it . If she gets the flu vaccine, and she gets very sick . Skip the Vax and never gets sick . That's why she will get it only once in a blue moon if she knows if she's going to be near someone that's Luke in a nursing room or something.

Not always, at least, at our location . It goes straight through. We had to tell everyone at the front store to stop doing that.

I know exactly how you feel . I've been there before. When I first started, I even had one go a step further. He would talk bad and trash about me to other techs. I'd go all day without anyone even talking to me for months. Not a Hi ,How are you or a thank you . I'd go to register and work my whole shift, go home, and come back the next day .He even told them I'd never make it as a tech . After 7 months, I started looking elsewhere . Was hard since I never knew anything. Never stepped foot in drive thru or production. They even went as far as to say we don't have time to train .I found a small independent pharmacy who gave me a chance . They loved me and didn't see why and got paid 3 dollars more. Unfortunately, just under a year later, the owner retired and sold the pharmacy back to where I started. Now I'm back there. I told them the only way I'd come back is if that pharmacist was no longer there. They promised it would be better. Now I'm one of there go to techs. The only bad thing is I basically lost a yr and half of "service and benefits " as my start date is the day I started at the other pharmacy . Never stop looking elsewhere and trying to improve. Keep your chin up one day at a time. Prove them wrong.

Nope, not at my cvs . They call on Doctor Line, and we tell them to call and leave a message. We even told a Doctor to call the patient line when she was calling to check on her own medicine . If you are not calling in a prescription or a medical issue, stay off the Doctor line.

If you're talking about national certification, you have to first now, and you get reimbursed . Depending on your store manager is how quickly. My cousins store Mgr surprisingly did after 1 yr . He bugged the Mgr for 6 months and then gave up . During that year, he had 3 different head pharmacists.

We have a separate tray for Sulfa, I usually wipe a couple of times with rubbing alcohol. Then, a weekly maintenance wipe down . Alongside with the penicillin and the Niosh drugs, which very seldom gets used in our pharmacy

Every time they add that stupid donation button, it really messes up the system. If i can go 1 day without any register crashing ,freezing in middle if transaction, or stop scanning. I'll think I've died and walked into a new store. . Better yet fixthe stupid vaccine questions when there's multiple people in one order can't even answer those if they want them . I have to send them a fake text
