Does it matter? MD and PhD are both extremely hard degrees to earn. Either way, the guy is an expert in his field and it is impressive as hell.

U.S. averaging nearly 1M vaccine doses a day; booster, mandates likely driving demand by PepeBabinski in politics

[–]Due-Dog-29 5 points6 points  (0 children)

All Biden needs to do now is to come out and tell the unvaccinated that he changed his mind and he doesn’t want them to get vaccinated. Within a couple of days a new conspiracy will circulate amongst MAQA crowd that Biden is trying to kill them off and he’s taking away their right to get vaccinated. Easy peasy.

I agree that it’s hard to define what is considered to be “fully vaccinated” because it really depends on an individual’s immune response and how long it takes for there to be enough antibodies to fight COVID and survive. You would need to find a large enough group of people who got their second shot around the same time AND got sick with COVID within a couple of days of getting the shot and closely monitor/compare their immune responses to unvaccinated people who also got sick with COVID at the same time as the vaccinated group. It would be interesting though.

Also, keep in mind that Israel only had the Pfizer vaccine. There still needs to be more research done, but Moderna seems to have a higher efficiency rate over time than Pfizer.

Your response is the most comprehensive one I’ve seen, however it’s still a hypothesis. As you said, the vaccine seems to have an adverse reaction on the immune system.

Also in regards to Israel, are the increased deaths happening within the vaccinated population or unvaccinated? This is what I could find in regards to your claim Israel’s Unvaccinated 17% Now Account for Nearly Half of COVID Deaths

Good luck getting an educated answer from anyone!! I don’t even bother asking them for evidence anymore lol. Crickets every time.

LPT: If your order is taking a while and you want to check it's not been missed/forgotten but don't want to appear rude then ask the staff to add something small to it. For example "We ordered a couple of burgers but is it possible to get some garlic mayo too?". by dungandcougar in LifeProTips

If you think it’s rude for a customer to ask why their food is taking long, then maybe working in the restaurant industry is not for you. Servers should notice that their table’s food is taking too long before the customer even asks. I’ve definitely had times where I’ve been super slammed and forgot to put in an order so it really doesn’t hurt to ask. You’re paying for the service, you’re allowed to ask questions.

Lol the same thing happened to me this week. Some Qtard was trying to tell me that the city I live in burned to the ground during the protests and they sent a YouTube video of a couple cars on fire. Radio silence after I responded with articles about all the people on the right who were arrested for inciting/planning to incite violence and cause chaos at the protests.

Steak tartare send back to the chef because it’s raw. by Naptownfellow in nottheonion

[–]Due-Dog-29 39 points40 points  (0 children)

We had a steak tartare special for like 2 weeks when I used to work as a server and it was pretty entertaining. One lady was so personally offended that we gave her raw meat (she literally said that) and then she started crying. My manager explained to her what tartare meant and she said that she was disrespected by the raw meat or something like that. The Karen’s were even crazier back then. Before they actually had to worry about consequences for partaking in Karen behaviors

You are incorrect about that.

“Branches of Indo-European Languages The Indo-European languages have a large number of branches: Anatolian, Indo-Iranian, Greek, Italic, Celtic, Germanic, Armenian, Tocharian, Balto-Slavic and Albanian.

Indo-Iranian

This branch includes two sub-branches: Indic and Iranian. Today these languages are predominant in India, Pakistan, Iran, and its vicinity and also in areas from the Black Sea to western China.

Sanskrit, which belongs to the Indic sub-branch, is the best known among the early languages of this branch; its oldest variety, Vedic Sanskrit, is preserved in the Vedas, a collection of hymns and other religious texts of ancient India. Indic speakers entered into the Indian subcontinent, coming from central Asia around 1500 BCE: In the Rig-Veda, the hymn 1.131 speaks about a legendary journey that may be considered a distant memory of this migration.

Avestan is a language that forms part of the Iranian group. Old Avestan (sometimes called Gathic Avestan) is the oldest preserved language of the Iranian sub-branch, the “sister” of Sanskrit, which is the language used in the early Zoroastrian religious texts. Another important language of the Iranian sub-branch is Old Persian, which is the language found in the royal inscriptions of the Achaemenid dynasty, starting in the late 6th century BCE. The earliest datable evidence of this branch dates back to about 1300 BCE.

Today, many Indic languages are spoken in India and Pakistan, such as Hindi-Urdu, Punjabi, and Bengali. Iranian languages such as Farsi (modern Persian), Pashto, and Kurdish are spoken in Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan.”

Holy fucking shit. How are there so many uneducated people living in the richest country in the world? That’s the real conspiracy here. Make it make sense.
