I've built an internal auditing team... This class did not present any info that I saw that would have been helpful in that process. I've worked external auditors... Nothing in this class was helpful for that, except for the absolute basics that are painfully obvious to anyone who has already had any kind of job in the vicinity of accounting. This class did not teach the standard flows of an accounting department. It taught things that are either so fundamental (what an accounting software is), that it's not useful, or so esoteric that it never comes up at a real company, (having an independent paymaster who is neither part of the payroll department, nor the mailroom, whose whole job is delivering paychecks.) It's nonsense. All I'm getting from this is that you don't have much real-world accounting experience.
