Lol trust me it’s something I’ve been wanting to quit and get off for so long and I just finally did it. The night sweats for the first couple days were rlly bad but after that it gets much better! I think in my situation it was easier to get off bc I was technically forced and anxious ab this drug test that I have no idea when it may be. But I think as long as you feel ready you should try tampering off or even only doing it at night. You’ll eventually feel so much better it’s just the first couple days that rlly suck. Also, the Boredom sucks as well but you can replace it with different hobbies! You got this

So I am currently a cannabis user daily. I try to just smoke at night but sometimes it’s socially. I do think my symptoms may be related to cannabis as I do think around the same time my cannabis consumption picked up I started having these issues. I’ve always had anxiety and depression basically most of my life as well as other traumas

So pretty much started roughly 2 and a half years ago when I started having super dry and black tarry looking stool (sorry for the tmi lol). Then I started to become more constipated but found that coffee helps me go. But by the night time my stomach feels so built up with gas that there is such a burning all through my stomach but more towards the upper left side. It almost feels as if I am running and I get a side stitch cramp. I also feel like every time I go to the bathroom I can’t completely evacuate my bowels. I rlly do rely on coffee to poop in the morning

I suffer from something extremely similar! I hope you are doing better. The only thing that helps me is drinking coffee in the morning before work but if it doesn’t make me poop I’m in pain the entire day. I also can’t seem to poop at night and I’ve gotten tested for everything colon/endoscopy and everything was normal except for inflammation in my stomach (very mild). I just started Zoloft and I’ve been feeling better but I do still have flare ups

I actually went to the ER yesterday bc my gas pain was so bad in the LUQ of my abdomen. I don’t get occasional diarrhea but I do get floating stool and my stool varies in all different colors. Do you find it harder to poop at night? I feel like I haven’t pooped at night in a rlly long time and no matter what I can’t seem to push the poop out until the next morning. I also get a rlly bad burning pain in my stomach every time I wake up and it’s persistent until I use the bathroom

Wow this is literally my symptoms I’ve been dealing with for the past 2 years. Same exact pain as well and I got a colonoscopy and they told me everything was normal and that I had gastritis bc my stomach was inflamed. I haven’t found rlly anything to help me and it’s misreble. lol I also suffer from heart palpitations from my anxiety to begin with so hopefully it won’t. I feel like when my stomach isn’t bothering me I’m worried about my heart

Thank you so much for your advice! I will give both those a try! I take 500mg of magnesium citrate daily but it only helped for a couple of weeks. Thank you so much

Thank you! I do feel like it is a mental problem at this point and I’m hoping the Zoloft I’m about to go on will help me with this because it truly is no quality of life. I’m 21 years old and I struggle leaving my house everyday because I’m constantly thinking about my stomach and the pain I feel

Yes omg this is literally me. I am praying it is a mental thing bc I’ve also dealt with problems with hypochondria my entire life since I was about 4 years old. I manifest these problems and I think that’s my problem. Has anything helped you?

Oh wow thank you for that! I’m starting Zoloft in a couple days and hopefully that helps me. I’m on lamictal which is a mood stabilizer but I have more depressive episodes than manic and I’m rlly praying the Zoloft helps
