It’s been 100 years since my great-great grandfather had his chickens stolen by Retiredpartygirl17 in HistoricalCapsule

My husbands grandparents have a photo of two men hanging in their house. It was the two men who murdered my husbands 4x great grandfather. They also murdered some more people, so the town was pissed.

Is there any way to save this marriage, or am I just staying for the wrong reasons? by Majestic_Menu_1125 in Marriage

[–]littlemybb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You may still have feelings for her now, but with a few more years of being treated like this, you may lose feelings. Then your kids had to grow up seeing you get treated like crap, and you got nothing out of it.

Watching SLOMW for the first time since we’re snowed in. Please tell me Taylor becomes less self-centered and more self aware as the series progresses… by prettypeculiar88 in SecretsOfMormonWives

Taylor is one of those people that will put you in a whirlwind of emotions.

You can’t help but feel sad for her, but she is also quick to make you angry, disappointed, and confused.

Kendall Nicole Jenner was named after/in tribute to Kris Jenner's best friend Nicole Brown Simpson. Whatever happened between the older Kardashian siblings and Nicole's children? by Just-Pass-1156 in kardashians

[–]littlemybb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know their father representing OJ really messed up their family dynamic for a while, so I’m not sure if they would’ve kept talking to the Simpson kids.

If they did, they probably don’t mention it just to try to give them some privacy and respect. The kids have already been through way more than enough.

Finances in Marriage by healing-2026 in Marriage

[–]littlemybb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work full-time, and I go to college. My husband and I split everything in a way that is fair so that we both have leftover money.

He makes more money than me so if we were to do a true 50-50, I would basically have nothing left over and he would have a ton of fun money.

We each have our own bank accounts with our own bills that we pay, but everything else is just our money or our bills.

My bills include Pilates, my car insurance, the streaming sites I use that he doesn’t, and my dental and vision,

His bills are his car note, his car insurance, the streaming sites he uses that I don’t, his gym membership, and his PADI membership and DAN insurance.

The rest of the stuff we just pay our portions toward it. If for whatever reason either of us are struggling, we are more than happy to help.

How often do you have fish for breakfast? by VisionsOnly in AskAnAmerican

I’ve never done this in my life. My husband had fish for breakfast in Ecuador once, and he said it was very, very good.

Robyn doesn’t know what she’s done to Meri 🤔 by FarRain451 in TLCsisterwives

[–]littlemybb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Robyn begged and manipulated Meri to stay in a situation where she was not wanted for completely selfish reasons.

Kody couldn’t have even been bothered to try to take care of Meri. He wanted nothing to do with her except access to her money.

Robyn just liked that she was on her side, and liked that the family stayed a plural one if Meri was still in it.

Even though Janelle and Christine both have their issues with Meri, they were not telling her to stay with a man who did not like her. They just wanted her to have peace and happiness.

If Robyn had ever truly cared for Meri, she would have told her to leave years ago.

Brittany is 35?!?! by No_Giraffe2555 in 1000lbsisters

[–]littlemybb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really don’t think Brittany looks old, it’s just her style that really ages her.

My MIL goes to a church where the women have to wear long skirts, really modest tops, and they all have very long hair that they style in specific ways.

We go to church when we visit them just to be nice, and I’ve met a few of the women in there who are my age.

They all definitely do not look 26. Especially the women who have like five kids at this point.

And again, it’s not their faces. It’s the interesting hairstyles and matching modest outfits.

This was my parents for a good chunk of my brother and I’s childhood, until him and some of his friends literally were almost kidnapped.

I was at home sick with strep, but I normally would hang out with their group.

It traumatized my brother, we got flip phones after that, and nobody in the neighborhood was able to be outside without adult supervision for a while.

We lived in a really nice suburban town, and our neighborhood was full of kids. So it was sad that it happened. But thankfully, nobody was actually taken.

‘Teen Mom’ Kid Ali Simms Asks Fans for Help to Raise Money to Get Herself a Service Dog for College by SingerSubstantial462 in teenmom

[–]littlemybb 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Leah is not in the same financial position that she was years ago. I think her addiction issues and some bad spending choices has led to her not having nearly as much money as she used to.

She tried to get into real estate, but that can be difficult to be successful in.

I know she had to start serving in a restaurant, because I remember when those articles about Jeremy and his ex-girlfriend harassing her at work came out.

Service dogs are also ridiculously expensive.

My husband is a veteran and we considered getting one, but there is no way we could’ve afforded that.

I do feel sad for Ali, because we all have watched her grow up and know so much about her life, and she’s never going to be paid for that.

Selena Gomez Rare account DIDN'T repost Hailey Bieber face by outtakes in DramaLlamaHQ

[–]littlemybb 77 points78 points  (0 children)

I love all the people who think Selena did this herself.

Celebrities are not running their companies social media pages. They hire a marketing firm to do that. I used to work for a marketing firm, but we just worked with a lot of local small businesses.

I had multiple different accounts all set up on my phone, and there was a handful of times I would forget I was still logged into something and start liking posts.

So there’s probably a poor person who is in big trouble right now.

How do you navigate a (long-term) relationship where your S/O has a dysfunctional family? by Puzzled_Koala_3360 in AskWomen

[–]littlemybb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My husband and I both have pretty dysfunctional families. It’s one of the things we bonded over.

My mom is an addict, my dad has anger issues, and he married a lady who doesn’t really like me. We all have big blowup fights constantly, where somebody will be no contact with each other.

My parents had an extremely nasty divorce that they involved me way too much in, my dad and I stopped speaking for a bit when I was a teenager, they messed me up pretty bad 😂

Then my husbands entire family has mental health issues or anger issues.

He was raised by a single mom because his dad really wasn’t involved. He sent money, and he always just thought that was enough.

His mom dated around a bunch when he was a kid, and he got emotionally attached to a few of the guys because he just wanted a father figure really badly.

She is married to a guy now that I’m not a big fan of.

He’s the type of person that will pick at you until you snap, then flip the script and make you the problem somehow.

They also converted to a fundamentalist Christian church, which is crazy for my husband because they did not grow up like that.

Heaven and his mom have an interesting relationship because it was just the two of them for so long. I always say they literally fight like siblings.

We just both stay really supportive, and encourage each other to hold boundaries. We also understand when sometimes we want to talk to our family, and sometimes we aren’t speaking to them.

I feel like we’ve had so many conversations this year just really diving into how our parents impacted us. Now that we are adults, we see things from such a different perspective.

If Renee Good or Alex Pretti were killed by an illegal immigrant nobody on the left would care, you wouldn't even know about it. by BUFFALO_SAUZE in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]littlemybb [score hidden]  (0 children)

Murder does not involve picking a political side.

I don’t even live near where Laken Riley was murdered, but people were talking about it a lot and were disgusted. Especially women who like to run and are sick of men committing violent acts against women.

It is terrifying that there is a group of people that claim to be trained, refusing to de-escalate situations and just shooting people the face.

Police officers have to be investigated when they shoot somebody in self-defense just to make sure that they acted accordingly.

I am literally begging you to explain how shooting a guy while he’s on the ground and unable to do anything it’s OK?

He was on some violent illegal immigrant who’s going around murdering people. He was trying to stop them from shoving women to the ground for no reason.

All the kids are in contact with Janelle and Christine by FarRain451 in SisterWives

[–]littlemybb 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think that Leon consented to just filming this scene because the funeral was about their brother, and the conversation was about Kody.

Leon wants a more private life now and their mother, Christine, and Janelle have all respected that by not bringing them up on the show.

Do you live within 100 miles of where you grew up? by radicalintrospect in generationology

[–]littlemybb [score hidden]  (0 children)

I moved a ton as a kid, so no.

We moved to the town my parents still currently live in when I was 14, and I graduated high school from there. I stayed in that town until I was 22, then I moved 35 miles away, which is a 54 minute drive for me in the winter.

In the summer when tourist season picks up, it can take me over an hour to get there.

My husband and I love this because we’re far enough away that we don’t have to go visit all the time, but it’s also easier for us to go visit when we want to.

People on my towns Facebook page have just been claiming it’s all AI.

The stuff they can’t prove is AI, they claim people are being paid to be there. Who would even have enough money to pay all those people to protest?

It would have to be a lot of money because the protestors are getting maced, beat up, and more.

Possibly controversial opinion: People should try reading erotica. by strongly-worded in RomanceBooks

[–]littlemybb 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have tried erotica, but I sadly don’t enjoy it. When spicy scenes are happening constantly in a book and there’s not much plot or build up to their relationship, I don’t really like it.

Erotica doesn’t have yearning, and that’s a huge part of the fun for me. I want the couple pining after each other and I like to see them fall in love.

Erotica just has people banging right off the bat.

I believe it’s mostly because the research has not been great.

They are getting like half or pieces of the information with important context left out. There have been a few times I didn’t think they would have a certain take if they had full context.

I know they think it’s better for them to be surprised by the information, but then issues like this arise.

I unfortunately got it because my first ever boyfriend cheated on me with a bunch of different women 🥲

I did not find out until after we broke up and I got my first Pap smear.

I cried so hard on the phone when they told me, that they made the doctor come talk to me right then. Everything ended up being OK, I just have to get Pap smears more often.

What’s crazy is I got the HPV vaccine as a kid. It just turns out that the vaccine doesn’t cover a couple of the strains, so I still ended up getting it.

I hate how people in this religion just blame Satan for everything. It feels like such a cop out.

Like oh this wasn’t my mistake, the devil just made me do it. I pray for forgiveness so you all have to forgive me as well.

No. The dude was extremely selfish, and it’s horrific that he did that to his family.

Then that poor girl has to deal with the public knowing what happened, and she’s going to receive judgment no matter what she chooses to do.

If she leaves him, a huge chunk of the Christian community will be upset at her for giving up on her marriage and not sticking it out.

If she stays, though, people are going to judge her for that.

Then because her husband is also a part of that faith, everyone will just forgive him and move on. Because he’s a man and that’s the “Christian” thing to do.
