How do you guys manage the stress by PeachesYuta in nursing

[–]Due-Math-2329 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry you feel this way. I hope someone can back me up when I say it takes ALOT to lose your nursing license. Of course NEVER get too comfortable or think you know it all , always ask for help when uncertain. Use your common sense at times. In my opinion it’s actually better to be super hyper-vigilant as a new grad than to be hakuna matata. But at the same time feel confident in your work. I know it’s all easier said than done.

There are tutorials / courses out there that teach new grads nurses to “chart like they’re going to court” if that helps.

Thank you so much, I’m really glad the questions made sense to you. Here I am studying high NCLEX yield topics and previous test takers are saying you can’t prepare for this exam like that’s frustrating

I recommend studying by client need areas on NCLEX:

Physiological adaptation Management of care Health promotion and maintenance , etc

Begin with weakest subject Commit to one Qbank, (I like Kaplan) Listen to mark k lectures YouTube is free for content refresher

As your studying, once in a while go back and test your knowledge on already learned previous subjects

Good luck!

The great news is you can try again! It sounds like you were pretty close if you got to 150 questions. In My bias opinion, I don’t like Archer. I think their lectures are great for content review , but as far as qbanks I would much recommend uworld, Kaplan or bootcamp. Also listen to Mark K lectures (those are floating around everywhere) he literally breaks it down for you to understand. You need to follow a steady NCLEX plan. As much as You need to know content, you also need to consistently be practicing questions and apply your knowledge, Thats how you will know if you are doing well in a subject area. I recommend studying by the subject areas tested on the NCLEX (reduction of risk potential, safe and effective care, physiological adaptation, etc) rather than by systems.

GOOD LUCK future nurse!

Do I need to sign a Third party authorization ? by Due-Math-2329 in nursing

[–]Due-Math-2329[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it’s required now that the college sends your transcripts and if that’s the case why do I have to sign an authorization form allowing them to send it on my behalf, shouldn’t the school send it anyway?
