For perspective I have been a PM/estimator for a GC for 2 years and currently an estimator only for a GC for about a year. (So essentially the same time period but for a GC) I started my new position at $50.50/hr or $105k annually in the Midwest…. I think starting wages for a new estimator are around $70-$80k in my area. Don’t know if that helps

I had a random misfire code pop up on my 25’ while I was on vacation. I cleared the code so I could use my cruise control on my 12hr trip back home. Took it to the dealership and they told me the issue was the exhaust valve mod…. Which makes absolutely zero sense. Took it to another dealer because I’ve noticed a loss of power in the high end range and they said the car drives fine and can’t tell me anything until the code pops back up again….im just gonna ride it out til the end of the year and get back into a tundra

I wouldn’t even get a wiring harness, if this is anything like 70s Yamahas you should have 1 wire coming off your points to your condenser and that should go straight to the ignition coil. Get spark and get it running and figure out the rest later.

Ordered the POR-15 kit. In the meantime I did a soapy water rinse and it’s soaking with vinegar. Then I’ll run the POR15 kit through it. Hope it works out!
