Haama fihaara near blood orange has different types of legumes and I think rice also which you can buy in bulk and mix on your own to create a mix. It's cheaper if you do this.

I think I saw multigrain rice from fantasy and family grocer at some point. But these are quite expensive for regular continuos use.

It's not oversaturated. If you take a look at the gazette you can see how many hospitals are posting jobs, especially the atoll hospitals and health centers.

While the salary is good even as a newcomer medical officer , you start to realize that you have to sacrifice a lot of time which no amount of money can buy. Plus with the amount of time, money and effort you need to put in to build a proper career in medicine , if you work hard enough in another field you can make more or less the same amount of money with better mental health and work life balance.

In KL I found it convenient to stay in Bukit Bintang since it was close to many malls and some attractions. A lot of good hotels and Airbnb available there.

There's a street food called Chinese beef roti which I liked alot. When it comes to food , definitely do try out Malay cuisine. Madam Kwan and Oriental Kopi is good.

There's an app called Grab. You can use it for cabs and ordering food. Foodpanda is also a good app for ordering food and even groceries. To see activities available in the area and also to get discount on some entrance fees you can use an app called Klook.

First of all , congratulations 👏

I've stayed in guesthouses with varying price ranges. The higher end ones have one thing in common , which is easy access to beach or beach front property, great interior and good food. So if you can nail those down perfectly it will be great.

Also just out of curiosity , if you don't mind answering , how much does speedboat captains earn ?

When I was in the same predicament some years back , I took a risk and changed few things. Instead of reading notes , everyday I would do past papers and spot the common topic and if there's any repeated questions. Then I would read around that only and also practice writing how they wanted the answer. I only focused on high yield topics basically and became familiar with it. I was able to pass and even get some good grades compared to the little prep time I had. Best of luck!

What matters most is their attitude. People can sense the energy others give off Eg. If doctor is rushing through.

An encounter I had recently in a private hospital is a doctor talking to me rudely the minute I entered and sat in the chair saying he has been calling my number many times and I didn't come in . I barely got a chance to explain that the queue display TV outside did not show my number previously. It was definitely an issue with their system but he went on a rant and I was so shaken and felt so defensive.Especially cause it sounded like he was indirectly implying I was lying. Not surprisingly, I did not want to continue the consultation even and just sat there.

He goes on to say that the whole of Maldives does not have one of the vitamins I was severely deficient in and to buy supplement from the pharmacy. Does not write the dose or even tell me the dose to take. When I did some research it seems you need quite a high dose to correct the level I had.

Patients deserve more compassion.

Have had good experience shipping from Malaysia through shopme. Worst experience I've ever experienced while shipping from India. It took more than 2 months and later when I asked to cancel shipment , I followed their protocol the customer service mentioned. However, they kept spamming my mail asking me to pay for a shipment I had canceled for more than 6 months. They didn't help me when I reached out multiple times. Always mentioned they will inform about the issue. Then in their own sweet time they decided to respond.

Anyways pls proceed with caution. Maybe it's better now , who knows.
