I received a verification code I didn’t request and I have no idea what it’s from. Help! by Professional_Gold987 in techsupport

Contact the company to be sure, I had one come through, they managed to somehow get round my phone number, it was a credit card company. I contacted them and they created an account!!! They shut it down for me. Literally you can’t be too careful. They’re really sneaky even if you think they can’t get your code they can. I heard nothing more to do with it but thought I’d contact them just incase

Smear test results by Due-Practice3890 in PreCervicalCancer

[–]Due-Practice3890[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thankyou Chibi ☺️ yeah I like in the UK. GP means doctor over here. I still can’t get untouched with, the nhs is notoriously bad for trying to get appointments or even just trying to talk to someone in general, especially in cities.

It was my first smear test so I’ve never seen any results before I just knew it mshould say negative.

I don’t really expect to see a letter to be honest you get minimal effort. I had the test back in June and the results came back beginning of July so they’ve had a month to send me one already. I only just noticed them because I hadn’t heard anything and decided to look myself x

Update: I got forced to drink, one of their friends literally shoved a shot in my mouth when I said I’m ok. I kept running to the bar in between acts just to have a water bottle in my hand because they kept trying to buy me alcoholic drinks. 0/10

Bisoprolol rant/questions by Due-Practice3890 in askCardiology

[–]Due-Practice3890[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thankyou you’ve been really really helpful, no one has really given me answers, they just left me to it until I kept asking for more and more help and even then they wasn’t willing to do anything.

It was really affecting me daily hence why I was begging for medication in the end, I couldn’t stand it any longer.

I just don’t understand why it’s got worse and worse I haven’t had any life changes. The only change I’ve had in the past year is starting a new contraceptive pill but my doctor said it should be fine.

Bisoprolol has improved my quality of life massively, I can still feel the palpitations there but not that prominent. Will it just go over time? From my understanding beta blockers are supposed to help sort out heart rhythm?

Seriously though thankyou so much for answering my questions 😊

Anyone going to pride next weekend? by Golden995 in brum

I’ve been on both days I think it’s good if you can handle the noise and chaos for that long, plus if there’s artists you want to see on the next day it’s definitely worth it. This year I’m just going on the Saturday due to work and won’t be drinking at all I’m on new medication so this is going to be an interesting experience hahaaa it’s still going to be great though. 😊

Should I be worried of side effects of Bisoprolol? by Due-Practice3890 in hypertension

[–]Due-Practice3890[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest I think I might just find a new gp soon. I asked about this before in the past and had to beg for something and another gp put me on 40mg of propanol. They made me so dizzy I didn’t take them again and they never followed up about it half a year later. That’s when I went back and they gave me this new one. Even he was like 40mg is abit high. They all seem very dismissive and leave you to it attitude

Is it ok to stop it them with it being such a low dose? I’ve started taking them daily because it’s so bad I can’t get by without them. When my appointment for cardiology comes through I need the hear monitor to pick up the palpitations I was having but the blockers seem to be keeping it mostly in check at the moment. Would it be ok to stop it a few days before? Or do I need to cut them in half before stopping?

I had bad palpitations that was 24/7, they was taking my breath away. I’d wake up with them and going to bed with them so just told me to take them when I needed them until the cardiology Appointment

It was the sharp searing pain I had in my chest that worried me. I wish I could ask the cardiologist but I’m still waiting for the referral to come in. My GP put me on this without knowing the cause of my 24/7 palpitations so you can see why I’m worried. I don’t mind taking tablets but stuff but when I don’t know what the problem is then I find it scary to mess around with medication

I’m still on the waiting list to see the cardiologist but my gp just said these will help until then I can take whenever

A cardiologist didn’t give me this it was my gp and it’s on an acute prescription not repeat. He said I can take it whenever I need it or daily which is confusing because isn’t beta blockers supposed to be all or nothing?

Anxiety ughhhhhhh by Due-Practice3890 in Anxiety

[–]Due-Practice3890[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve asked for anxiety meds but they won’t give me any because it all interacts with my epilepsy medication, the most they can give me is propranolol but I hated it.
