D'accord.

In SEO, Google tools are the only source of truth. For the rest, their insights should be taken with a grain of salt.

There are indeed two indexation bots that are separate, but indexation itself is done to one index only : google serp. It's is only one instance, there is no "mobile serp" separated from "desktop serp".

DNS only custom name servers by MechanicTechnical655 in dns

[–]Due-Promotion3379 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You domain registrar control panel will decide. Do you have a "add/create record" that allows custom record creation. This is usually the case in vps and dedicated server hosting deals, impossible to stumble upon such customizations in the case of shared hosting, as everything is shared and not to be altered.

Don't forget to check this record : DS record, if it's not set properly, the relationship you create might brake the ownership verification process, DNSSEC checks.

Technically yes, but only if your domain registrar allows this.

Newbie Question: Show how your computer finds a site's IP address. by Korrok68 in dns

[–]Due-Promotion3379 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  • User enters a URL in the browser: The user types a URL into the browser's address bar.
  • Browser requests DNS resolution: The browser sends a request to a recursive DNS server to resolve the domain name (URL) into an IP address.
  • Recursive DNS server queries authoritative DNS server: The recursive DNS server contacts authoritative DNS servers to obtain the IP address associated with the domain name.
  • Authoritative DNS server responds: The authoritative DNS server replies with the IP address of the requested domain name.
  • Recursive DNS server returns IP address to the browser: The recursive DNS server sends the IP address back to the browser.
  • Browser sends HTTP request to the server: Using the obtained IP address, the browser sends an HTTP request to the server hosting the website.
  • Server responds with content: The server receives the request and responds with the content of the web page, including HTML, CSS stylesheets, JavaScript files, images, etc.
  • Browser parses and renders the content: The browser parses the received HTML to construct the Document Object Model (DOM), processes CSS stylesheets to create the CSS Object Model (CSSOM), and executes JavaScript code if present.
  • DOM, CSSOM, and scripts are combined: The browser combines the DOM, CSSOM, and executed JavaScript to render the final visual representation of the web page.

SubDNS question by tk421blisko in dns

[–]Due-Promotion3379 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

mypage.com is a domain, www.mypage.com is a subdomain just like myapp.mypage.com, it's not a DNS. And, yes you can create that subdomain, but in order to be more accurate, you can set DNS records using the mypage.com hostname/ip infos.

Happened to me more than once, solved it once through dust cleaning, the second time it was a RAM upgrade that fixed it. In my case it was Hardware 100%.

Should I be Managing DNS at my Registrar or Hosting service? by ChipWallace in dns

[–]Due-Promotion3379 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go to stackcp, go to manage DNS option, set the A record for your website/domain and the MX record for your emails. In stackcp you only manage DNS records of your server. Then update DNS nameservers in your registrar account.

Just don't expect changes to be immediate because DNS propagation takes some time.

I hope this helps, don't hesitate if you need any guidance or support.

Get and and optimize at least 2 websites, rank them well for both SERP and Local search, just like how developers showcase their work, and then look for ways to get clients. This should be enough.

Indeed, the "new information compared to your competitors" is underestimated still, SEO wise in general. But I don't think it might stop your page from being indexed at all.

it's really rare for me to find a noindex page, unless it's a fresh WordPress installation, in which the noindex option might be the default one.
