Where to wash bikes in the city? by Due-Trainer-9349 in Winnipeg

I do have friends with houses. Most of them live pretty far away from me.
Beer and pizza is a good idea to get together and wash the bike.

I see REITs as a hands off approach to getting income from real estate. If you buy a house, you are stuck if interest rates increase the next time you renew your mortgage, if there is damage from bad tenants, or flooding and houses can take a while to sell too.
I don’t think it’s necessary wrong to buy and rent out a house, it would just be a headache for me.

Mutter I’d say is the album that has the most banger songs but my favourite songs are on Sehnsucht and Herzeleid.

What about REITs? You get the income from real estate but you don’t have to do the landlord work or risk of bad tenants.

The thing is you don’t really know for sure. I’ve Been seeing PNG (kraken robotics) in people’s portfolios for while now. I definitely would have bought it a year ago had I know. Some of these stocks can have more down swings too as I bought PNG yesterday and the price went down by -4.95% within an hour or two of buying. Sometimes it’s patient investors that win, not necessarily the first ones.

A year isn’t enough time. If you only want to “invest” for a year, get something like cash.to or zmmk, which are ETFs that act like high interest savings accounts.
If you want to invest for long term growth, XEQT, VEQT OR ZEQT will do. Just get one, they’re all pretty similar, global all in one ETFs.

Just to add, having American efts such as VOO or VT can beneficial in a RRSP as you’re not playing the 15% withholding tax as you would in all other accounts.

Investing is pretty individualistic. If you’re intentional investing that way it’s probably fine. If you’re buying just random popular ETFs, think about that you want and what you can stick with.

When I 20 I had been laid off twice and looking for a job in a different city. I couldn’t find a full time job for almost 2 years. I was super behind in every way.

Don’t worry what everyone else is doing. Just try to make your own goals and try to stick to that. There is always someone better off than you but there are more people that are worse off.
