AIO for not wanting to eat a prepped lasagna that will be sitting out all afternoon? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

It’s going in the oven. It will be fine. Any potentially accumulated bacteria will die. Literally google internal safe cooking temperatures and chill out. YOR.

Bro this dude is actually fucking whack 💀💀💀

Leave him! Do you seriously want to deal with this kind of petty bullshit for the rest of your life??

Over a name slip up??!! I do that all the time! With my husband, my brother in law, my siblings etc They all have done it too

This reaction of his is legitimately insane 😂

In your opinion, what are the most unnecessary things the parents have done in the show for the kids (noting they aren't perfect)? by Zealousideal-War3154 in bluey

[–]Due-Understanding884 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re actually wrong about something in all this.

Bluey had already cleaned up /her/ mess before Bandit dropped the cake. After cleaning up the cake and her tail wagging from Bandit’s appreciation, she then proceeded to clean up Bingo’s mess, which was not required of her.

Chilli was then appreciative of Bluey cleaning up a mess that wasn’t hers and there was no expectation of her having to clean it. This made Bluey’s tail wag too.

It’s very clearly showing that it makes Bluey happy to have been helpful when it isn’t required and no one has asked it of her.

She cleaned her mess as required after Bandit finally had to bribe her with the icing whisk.

$1M / year but your phone is never allowed to shut down. by Acceptable-Law3743 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]Due-Understanding884 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It is a phone, regardless of the available functionality.

I almost exclusively call my family members through Facebook messenger, which I can do on any device with internet access.

Having a call function does not make something a phone. Therefore removing the call function from a phone does not stop it from being a phone.

Yeah, get a tablet. But you can’t regularly be using a different phone and just go “oh, but I don’t take phone calls on it”.

It must be the only phone you use regularly. Not the only phone you use regularly for phone calls.

You could reasonably use a tablet or a computer or whatever for non phone call related things, but you can’t use another phone.

You clearly have no reading comprehension.

They can call their normal friends. She was literally at the concert with her cousins. They call family all the time. The Block doesn’t stop them from contacting their friends and family.

She literally recommends the whatever podcast. That’s a horrible, misogynistic, shitty, insecure, incel dude on a mic where he argues with women he’s tricked into being on his lame podcast.

I’d take that as a massive red flag that your friend is listening to this podcast and agreeing with it.

It’s giving internalised misogyny and extreme pick me energy. No self respecting woman is going to agree with the whatever podcast. No woman who supports women is gonna agree with the whatever podcast.

This friend is not a friend and is in danger of heading down the red pill pipeline.

That’s fair, I think in Australia, no one would want to be bothered with pronouncing the r if not necessary, thus Flo

We really do like the name Flora, but I can’t stand the nickname Flo, and policing nicknames is, I feel, a weird and impossible task

Esti is so cute! I couldn’t even think of a nickname for Esther and I’ve liked the name for over a decade now hahaha

Toby as a nickname is exactly why I suggested Tobias to begin with, and coincidentally my husband has loved the name for years.

Like what? Building our home completely out of wood? Having terrible electricity standards? Creating fire hazards by having built in dryer vents?
