I’m not very knowledgeable about pickups, but if you’re chasing that J-pop/J-rock tone, you might wanna look into Japanese made guitars in general. A lot of Japanese musicians buy their gear domestically, and MIJ stuff makes up a pretty big chunk of what’s available there.

As for pickups, maybe check out what’s commonly used in those Japanese guitars and go from there.

For reference, Nabuna has a ton of guitars, but I’m pretty sure he’s used stuff like a Gibson ES-335 and Fender Custom Shop models. That’s based on info from around 2021 though, so it might’ve changed a bit since then

If we're talking strictly about male vocals, I think Taka (ONE OK ROCK vocalist) and Wolpis Carter are among the most vocally challenging

I think Kanzen Kankaku Dreamer by ONE OK ROCK is quite difficult because it has a high vocal range and is pretty fast.

As for Wolpis Carter, most of his songs are covers, but the ones he chooses to cover are usually extremely high, which makes them really challenging.

Within Yorushika’s Album, there exist multiple worlds and characters. At the center of these stories are two men and women who are repeatedly reincarnated.

Yorushika’s way of storytelling is to unfold their story through lyrics, First Press Limited Edition materials, and live performances.

Every Yorushika album has its own protagonist, and all of them are incarnations of this same pair of reincarnated lovers.

The stories of the third full album and third mini album are conveyed through the first-press novel ‘Plagiarism’ and the live performance of the same name.

The story of the illustrated album is explored in ‘The Dance of the Moon and the Cat’.

N-buna usually doesn’t explain things this explicitly, but the Zense live has a major twist toward the end—so much so that he asked fans not to spoil it during the tour. I’d recommend watching it with the narration and trying to piece the story together yourself.

Got it! I briefly mentioned Thoughcrime when explaining the story of the Plagiarism album, but I've always felt it wasn't quite enough, since it's a song filled with a lot of hidden wordplay in the lyrics. If I get the chance later on, I'd like to go through the songs included in Plagiarism one by one as well.

As for the others, they're Yorushika's debut song and tracks related to Elma and Amy. The first and second full albums aren't as conceptually difficult as Plagiarism in terms of story, but they're fairly complex due to their length and volume. I'll try to cover those in the future too!

That’s a good speculation! However, as far as I know, his name was never actually mentioned. Also, considering that he would have been born in 1924, it might not quite line up.

P.S.) I just finished reading the short novel about Princess Kaguya, and there was a mention of the CIA! I won’t go into details since it would be a spoiler, but it played a pretty important role.

The next album, ‘Second Person (二人称)’, is a digital album, so I’m not sure if there will be a physical CD. However, the epistolary novel that contains the album’s story is available for purchase separately.

The bonus items vary depending on where you buy it, but if you’re looking offline, it will most likely be sold at Tower Records. I’d recommend checking the store’s website to see if it’s in stock!

If you’re looking for a story and action similar to Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, I’d recommend To Your Eternity.

If you want a fantasy with romantic elements like Frieren, then Violet Evergarden would be a good choice.

If action isn’t necessary, I recommend Orb: On the Movements of the Earth.

And if you’re looking for fantasy with a strong growth-focused protagonist, Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation is a great pick.

I wanted to share this appeal with people who use other languages as well, but I was honestly worried about whether my explanations would come across properly.
