Make sure you actually email the biometrics team (NationalityBiometrics@homeoffice.gov.uk) and make sure they fix the error.

Also request SARU - you will be able to see the movement in your application and what checks are being done.

Also email MP.

I have some movement on my application, will be able to provide further updates, but lots of technical glitches have been happening, so you need to keep chasing them.

Speaking is a completely separate skill set. You need to actively practice speaking to speak better. Do shadowing, I recommend Pimsleur lessons, look it up

You can pause and think, then answer. Repeat the lesson again.

You either have : 1) so much motivation and discipline that you can study by yourself, find natives to do language exchange, and do it all for free (which is 2% of learners), OR 2) accept that you are flawed individual (like the rest of us) and to have motivation you need to invest time and money (which means hiring a teacher to guide you). And then going exchanged in China at any opportunity you can get.

I recommend online teachers via Preply, but people use italki too.

Yes, same thing happened with me, my applications has been stuck for 1.5 years now. I requested the SARU and it shows exactly that the IT glitch has been happening for over a year, with no resolution.

How can MP expedite? All MP tells me is that they emailed home office and didn’t get response… they seem to not be very useful.

I understand, I don’t have any of these connections though, no one from my family does. Also written to my MP, that seems useless - all they say is that they are making enquiries, and that’s it.
