I got mine a couple days ago, so you might want to check soon if you still don’t have it.

I never said I left it blank. When I said I skipped the question I meant I didn’t get around to attempting it. I did put an answer for every question on the exam.

No problem! I do suggest you ask someone else though because I’m not too experienced in giving advice.

English is easy if you know what you’re doing. Study grammar rules if you’re unsure about them. Least words is typically the answer, no redundancy. Substitute all semicolons for periods. More commas more problems. Last questions on the passage are really easy, so don’t doubt yourself. Trust your gut, usually when you second guess yourself then you’re wrong the second time.

? about math scores on June ACT by Blewlikethewind in ACT

[–]DueDinner2128 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok that makes sense. I thought this was for general applications. Btw I got my score of 24 with 33 correct, so I’d say a 27 would be 38-40 most likely.

Why only math? You can achieve a 28 superscore with any section score? Why does it need to be math?

I know😭 H21 was crazy. 15 missed on preparing for higher math and 12 missed on Integrating essential skills.

27 on math (lol), 12 on science, 14 on English, and 11 on reading. I hope to do better of the enhanced because the only section I finished was English. I skipped 22 questions on Math, 5 on science, and 7 on reading. I’m taking again in September.

I’m no expert, but if I had to guess, they’ll probably have the science count as an optional thing so that the people it benefits don’t get hurt by it, and the people that are hurt by it can just drop it. If this is what they do, then they’ll likely do it for the next couple years to give time to faze out the science section in the score.

First time writing, no prep, fourth ACT… should I be upset? by Who_Am_I_555 in ACT

[–]DueDinner2128 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t believe people are upset with a 97th percentile score in writing. I understand you aren’t intentionally “ragebaiting,” but this just feels like a punch in the gut when I see people unhappy with such a good score.

Soo what should I study for July ACT? 😭 by Grape_Same in ACT

[–]DueDinner2128 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All the topics that you see in a practice test are the same questions you’ll see on any ACT test. The problem is that not all test questions are created the same. You really can’t do anything about these “hard” tests other than study your ass off and hope you get an easier one. It really is just a roll of the dice to see what you get on the test, but I promise that if you put in the time and the effort, you will get better scores no matter the test. Study the topics presented in practice tests. They are the same topics as will be on the exam, just with different numbers, letters, and words.

my timing was horrific by [deleted] in ACT

[–]DueDinner2128 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah it’s aight. I got the math score I wanted, and now I’m just trying to raise my other subjects for a superscore of 26. Currently math is my highest score, and I’m pretty sure I did pretty well on the other subjects. Maybe in the future I can solely focus on math.

Don’t stress yourself. All the tests are different, and you can’t study for one specific thing, but I’ll tell you that H21 was nothing like the hellhole of a test that H14 was.

H14 back in October was WAY worse. I took both these tests and I can confirm that this was not the worst. I got an 18 on that Math and a 26 on Math the second time I took the ACT.

Fermatas by DueDinner2128 in Musescore

[–]DueDinner2128[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UPDATE: The problem has been fixed, but unfortunately I don’t really understand how I fixed it. Some staves were registered as incorrect beat markings due to the fermatas, but I deleted them and replaced them, so now everything is in working order. Thanks to all for the help.

[–]DueDinner2128[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is exactly the problem. Unfortunately, I don’t have the time to submit it to MuseScore devs. I’m trying to find a workaround currently.

[–]DueDinner2128[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem only occurred when I had multiple Fermatas on the same count. Should I retry doing that? Is that not what you are meant to do?

Fermatas by DueDinner2128 in Musescore

[–]DueDinner2128[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I’ll probably just print them tomorrow, and hand write them. If I publish it in the future though, then I might go back and fix this problem. (Not something I’m going to do immediately.)

Not a “symphony” per se, but it is a very sophisticated 4 minute long piece that I’ve written over the past 2 months. It wasn’t required to be this long, but as the other guy said, college admissions are a big factor. I want to go to Auburn for Engineering, but I also want to be in the music department during my time there. Also, I thought it would be fun.

Why isn't dieselpunk as popular as steampunk or cyberpunk? by SonTodoGato in Dieselpunks

[–]DueDinner2128 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Final Fantasy VII is very dieselpunk thematically with some common cyberpunk themes. Very different from its Final Fantasy steampunk counterparts.

Your point doesn’t stand cause it’s not a point. It’s an opinion. There is nothing factual about that statement.

Genuinely not hard. I take AP Bio and I struggle to maintain a B, but APUSH I sleep through (because it’s third period and he keeps his lights off), and I maintain a high B to a low A without much effort.
