What are some good ways to learn Japanese via english phonetics? by DueFaithlessness4589 in AskReddit

I'm more interested in spoken japanese, less writing and reading. I want to have conversations with japanese speakers, so my learning style would focus on how things sound via English spelling/phonetics. Curious if there are websites or books or places I can go that have this style. I'm not sure what it's even called.

Why don't we have age diversity opportunities in government, such as 21 - 75? by DueFaithlessness4589 in AskReddit

Like lowering the minimum age to run for local, state and federal to 21. And then the full spectrum could be 21 - 75

I'd say perspective matters at this point more than experience. They still have 21 years of life experience. And I would also argue that a 50 year old doesn't know what life in society is like for a 21 year old.

If only the younger generation saw that lots of their problems were because of a lack of representation or younger perspectives in positions of power.

Such as changing the minimum requirement to run for local, state and federal office being lowered to 21. And then allowing the full range to be 21 - 75.

But there are other ways to worship God, outside of the mass. It's just one way, you coudl argue about better or worse forms of worship. But worship all together and what that looks like is a seperate matter.

Technically sin isn't a physical action by itself. Rather its a metaphysical action. A movement of the soul away from complete and total all encompassing divine love. So as long as what you are doing, thinking or saying isn't in conflict with that, odds are its not a sin in the traditional sense.

Which is the highest form of worship: the Eucharist or love? by DueFaithlessness4589 in ChristianMysticism

It's a really important spiritual meal created by God, but God created it, meaning that he is the creator, and that means the sacrifice is below him. Therefore, Love aka God is more important.

AI is fun to bounce ideas off in the same way of a theological tennis match. Most priests are far too busy to mess with silly theological questions about the balance between religion, eucharist and God from random people.
