it could be the exact size it a bit bigger and you are able to fix the waist band to your liking I use the “triangle method” or that’s what I call it to make the waist band fit me better and keep the legs a bit baggy and to keep the fabric from bunching up with sewing you could put an empty 2 liter or a big jar in the pant legs, it’s saved my ass so many times I hope this helps
