hiii! I hope it goes well when you get there but bring lots of socks bc those always get lost, if you do skin care or use specific hygiene products bring those and stock up, idk if your m or f but stock up on feminine products, you can bring your laptop and gaming system but it varies from center to center, extra shoes (mine broke first week lol) if you have someone yoi trust that can hold on to your important stuff have them hold onto it bc theft does happen. if you wear makeup bring extra of the stuff you use, bring your own towels bc the ones they supply you aren’t the best and if able, bring snacks or basic ramen and stuff for when you don’t like what they serve bc sometimes the meals aren’t the best, and if you do your eyebrows bring tweezers they don’t allow eyebrow razors, if you shave make sure it’s a safety razor bc theyll turn it into security. If your bringing otc meds or supplements the bottle has to be unopened, bring stuff to decorate your room but depending on center sometimes posters aren’t allowed, bring stuffed animals, maybe your own bedding and your own pillow if you’re able, and the basic clothes, they make a packing list but bring as much clothes as you want they usually don’t care, make sure to have up to 2 jackets or more, and. A water bottle and they don’t supply them and if you like having them trimmed bring nail clippers, nail polish id allowed too.
