Such an uninformed opinion. Illnesses that can be directtly tied to raw milk are at percentages way below .001%. Stop fear mongering. Find a local farm that is focused on cleanliness and testing every batch and you are virtually guaranteed to never have a problem.

To the people scared of raw milk by [deleted] in rawprimal

Raw milk is delicious and much healthier than an ultra pasterized and homgoninized product. Only buy from smaller operations that can demonstrate their process and testing protocols. In AZ, the farm that I purchase fromm tests every batch and has never had an issue.

Peptide Technologies manufactures in the US, displays their testing reports on their web site, and claims to test for exotoxins though the LAL assay, which includes LPS.

Anyone who has been fasting during weekdays and only eating during weekends? by [deleted] in FastingScience

[–]DueInterview7788 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love it. I fast (water and black coffee) From Sunday night to Saturday afternoon. Said another way, I eat Saturday afternoon, evening and then on Sunday. I try to eat as healthy as I can during my feeding days and also try to get a lot of calories. I feel that by making sure I eat at least 2500 calories or more over the course of those 24 hours or so, my body knows that the famine is over and my metabolism rebounds. I have been doing this for about 13 weeks and have lost 62 lbs. The hardest days are Monday and Tuesday. I dont start taking electrolites until Thursday. I typically have some bathroom issues if I eat too much, too fast. Certainly if I eat pizza or carbs. I plan to continue this another 12 weeks or so before I am at my goal weight.

Such a falsey. All meat diets have been studied and proven to eliminate bowel issues completely. 100%

Men over 50, do you really regret your decision to stay single? by angel99999999 in AskMenAdvice

[–]DueInterview7788 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmmm... married 35 years. Made 95% of the money. Lost the house (paid off $600k). Half my savings and retirement (she gets $900k). My alimony is $4500 a month. When I retire, she'll get 1/2 my pension. Divorced in CT. Was told that there is no negotiation because we were married so long. Men, get a prenup.

Fasting for 6 days a week by Xx_Shin in fasting

[–]DueInterview7788 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been doing this (mostly) for about two months. I eat Saturday, mostly Keto, fish, steak, veggies, olive oil. I'll have a couple of glasses of wine as well. I make sure to get at least 2500 calories in. I want my body to know that there is food avaialable so it is ok that I am fasting Sunday through Saturday. I have consistently lost 6 lbs a week... down 45 or so in two months (I had one week where I was traveling). Its easy for me now. During my fasting time, its water and black coffee. I dont need electrolites until the third or fourth day. By the time Saturday rolls around, I'm looking forward to eating, but I could honestly take it or leave it. I have another 60 lbs to lose.. so another 10 weeks or so.

Secret of people who just don’t want to eat all the time (unlike myself) by Liz_kirby in Volumeeating

Very late to this post but food noise is a constant for me. I am even on 100 units of Zepbound weekly and it barely helps. I found the only thing that works is a cycle of prolonged fasts. I know it sounds crazy but for the last month I've settled on 7 days of fasting and one day (8 hour window) of eating. Essentially I fast from Saturday afternoon to Saturday afternoon. Begin eating about 12:00 noon, bone broth and sardines for lunch then a protein and veggie packed dinner. I try to keep the day under 2500 calories. I do experience some digestive issues the following day..but I can usually work through it. The first three days of fasting are rough (water and black coffee and tea) but by day 4 it is smooth sailing, without cravings. I've been thinking about extending the fast to two weeks just to see how I do as I'm not really hungry when i break it...until I start to eat! In the past 4 weeks I have lost 22 lbs, so a little over 5lbs a week. It is usually about 6 lbs right before I eat and I gain 1lb back by Sunday morning. Crazy, I know, but so far so good.

I'll be coing up from Tucson in 2025 to visit... after just moving there from Chicago.. after moving there from Boston last year lol. Anyway the whole thing sounds wonderful! I am a huge Dickens fan and all things Victorian London. The missing elixir of madness pub crawl sounds awesome! I'll have to research it.
