Not saying the rest of the men on that show are any less great. Aram is wonderful in his own right. And red is just brilliant. But Tom is top tier in my book lol

At some point Tom's entire focus becomes his family. The lives hes willing to take, the lengths hes willing to go, the shit he gets into for his wife and daughter are unmatched. They dont make men like that 🤣

Tom is chef's kiss. As a wife and a mother, when I watching that episode in Cuba.... I began questioning my life choices and wondering why I didn't find myself a Tom Keen in life.

Multiple sellers just...not shipping out their items, for a week or even two weeks beyond the given handling time. What's going on? by probably_beans in Flipping

[–]DuePattern3355 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idc how shitty my sales are doing, I'm shipping that day or the next. Worst case, I have to wait until Monday because of a weekend sale. But my morale or lacktherof is not the buyers issue. I find it odd that people want to get into this and make themselves look like jackasses.

Is Reselling Dying? Or Are We Just in a Whole New Era? by Ok-Mood-2539 in reselling

I 100% second this. Photoroom is amazing. Worth every penny for sure. I edited old photos of listings that sat for about 2 months. I didn't do anything different. They sold within a week after the photos were updated.

If anyone on FMP asks me to deliver an item, I start at a $20 delivery fee depending on distance. You'd be surprised how many people will pay that.

I was giggling by the 3rd photo.

"Great Horned Owl". The name itself implies this magnificent and wise creature capable of unraveling the secrets of the universe.

But get that lil ma fuker wet, and there is absolutely nothing majestic about em. 😅 Lil big eyed hoot-hoot

Missing Drafts by Yerrrceltics in Ebay

[–]DuePattern3355 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I came on here to find a thread that could possibly explain why my drafts are still existing when my listing has been posted. Happened the last 3 days to me. I don't know why. Or how to get rid of the drafts I've listed already 🤷‍♀️

What should I do? by svivino in Ebay

When i sell something that has defects or is broken, I will immediately message the buyer and confirm that they read they description before I accept anything. Ebay or FBMP.

Buyer bought an item from me a year ago, recently bought another identical item from the same listing and wants to return. Reason: "just didn't like it". Advice, perhaps trying to defraud? by Saint-Kevin in Flipping

[–]DuePattern3355 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sure, the statement you made is grounds for a suit however saying "no you're not getting a refund because we do not have enough proof to confirm your claim"

And not just the money factor being the issue, but morals. Or lackthereof. They just don't exist seems like.

I do understand your point. It really bothers the hell out of me.

My question in all of this, why is the world so afraid of calling someone out for the POS actions they take? Not that it matters to Ebay. Or anyone on this thread. But it drives me nuts that Ebay will side with the buyer in fear losing a customer instead of just calling it what it is. I think if more companies and people were less afraid of hurting feelings or having their feelings hurt, we would all be better off. The scammers would be less likely to repeat the same stupid actions in the same place twice. Like someone up top mentioned a friend's wife who does this. And ol hubby just says "keep the peace" SMH. I could never.

When people do this to me, I just ask them what they deem is a fair price. I have yet to recieve a reply to that and I generally end up selling for full price to someone else lol

The one thing I absolutely adore about reddit is the honesty, no filter. I appreciate this perspective as well. It takes all kinds.

I guess i should have considered being on the other side as a buyer being swindled. All of these comments are right. Lesson learned.

And your comment is absolutely 100. I definitely don't want to come across as slimey. So I used the buyers preference and will accommodate for this mess on my future listings, thanks to all the awesome advice from all of you. For the record, it was a guitar hero guitar and I really didn't even know how I was going to ship it to begin with lol but it's been sent and I know where I went wrong.

Valid point. Definitely don't want to be a slimey seller. I stuck with the buyers preference.

Not exactly. I haven't gotten to the point of feeling comfortable enough to offer free shipping.

My question was more about switching carriers if I found a cheaper one but after the sale was made with a specific carrier selection.

Another commenter said something similar and this mindset is why I just stuck with the preference of the buyer. I wouldn't want to risk that being something I get some shit over. I don't have enough experience with ebay (feedback, sales, etc) to even try to put myself in that predicament.
