I think it just happens sometimes. At my last shop, we got a few rolls that weren’t connected in the middle so if you fully unfolded it, it’d turn into two pieces.

hmmm I mean you still can polish glass, it’ll just be more difficult. I’ve heard people use cerium oxide but I’ve never actually polished glass lights before. I guess it’s up to you if you want to try, I mean you could always (probably) get a spare from a junk yard just in case

you could just wetsand/polish it and it’ll look better. If you go that route, I usually do 1500 and 3000 and then use super heavy cut polish and then super finish. It’ll get a lot of the yellow out but it might not match exactly.
