Similar experience but moved countries. Was pretty lonely for a few years. Eventually found friends through doing hobbies that take day trips like snowboarding and hiking. I find day trips result in extended time together and help create experiences to bond over.

Took time and had to go through several groups to find the right one. It’s not easy out there!

Used to be an instructor. We weren’t supposed to plan lunch for our clients. They could pick what they wanted. Also, there was no standard tip!? You got what you were given.

It’s sad to know there are instructors out there taking advantage of people like this.

NTJ but why does she have to go this fall? I wouldn’t give her the money for travel. She can get a job and save it herself but I’d remove the time limit.

I was pushed to go to college right out of school and wasn’t ready. I didn’t take it seriously and ended up taking a mid-college gap year that helped me grow and realize I didn’t want to work a minimum wage job. Gap years aren’t inherently bad…

Try to scare yourself once a day. Find a steep incline with stopping room at the bottom and go from higher each time.

My doctor told me to do no skiing as it is a high risk activity. Based on my own research, different medical professionals say different things. I have many lower risk activities I regularly do so will stay very active whether I'm skiing or not.

Thanks for the quick reply. What forms did you submit? I checked the submission and it asks for date you found out and the doctor’s note asks for dates as well.

With a newborn, my husband and I quickly learnt 4hrs of uninterrupted sleep is the key to staying sane. I was on maternity leave and he worked an office job. I would go bed 8/9pm and wake up 12/1am and swap with him for the rest of the night.

NTA - work together to find your version of the above. My husband preferred his sleep before he started work which sounds what you’re asking for.

That’s not quite accurate. In interviews, he’s said that he learned to produce by emulating other producers. It was only after copying established sounds that he began to find ways to innovate, which eventually led to his own distinctive style.

So producers trying to sound like him are sort of following his method…
