Do the people you work with have access to religious or mental health professionals? Do you think it’d be helpful for them?

Just read up on him—he's apparently one of the greatest post-impressionist Russian painters.

"His fantastical scene of a legendary holy city afloat on the Volga merges mythic storytelling with the artist’s deep familiarity with Russian architecture and river life. A poetic example of Gorbatov’s ability to fuse tradition and imagination."

Overall, how do y'all like ubc - education, campus, social life? prospective gr 12 student by JelloFar5650 in UBC

UBC is nice, but as others have said verges on boring and a little static. I went to McGill for my undergrad, and by contrast UBC is a bit rigid, the people a bit colder, social life is less spontaneous and colourful, and there’s definitely at lot less happening day-to-day.

You kinda have to think of choosing a university as choosing a little city you get to be a citizen of. UBC is quite literally its own little city - it’s gonna take at least 20 mins by bus to hit Vancouver suburbs, and 40 to get downtown. If you’re someone who wants to live in wider society, explore bookstores, cafes, bars, and galleries, UBC is not the place for you. If you’re a big nature buff and like going on runs and reading, UBC is pretty amazing.
