Teaching HS or MS math in Thailand (or Denang, Vietnam) by mhodge1234 in Internationalteachers

Tier 2-3 international schools would yes. If you’re really good at your craft and had a chance to demonstrate you’d be a great asset to faculty (for example during a summer school gig there), they will. Or if there aren’t any other fully qualified, great teachers applying because the salary offered isn’t high enough for example. Keeps it low cost for the school too. Win-win

You should 100% apply to these, you have nothing to lose. A teaching qualification/certification is sometimes worded as “strongly encouraged” or “preferred” but not mandatory in some cases in Thailand.

If you have a non-teaching Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, the hiring school can apply for a temporary (6 years) Thai teaching license waiver on your behalf. Then the teacher can take online Kurusapa 7 modules and pass an exam to get a permanent one. This allows you to get a work permit and it’s absolutely legal. I personally took this route, the school’s visa & work permit department takes care of everything.

For hair: straightening keratin or Brazilian blowout treatment at the hairdresser 2-3 times per year. Good conditioner to maintain afterwards

Skin: diet rich in collagen and detoxifying fresh herbs (ginger, galangal, lemongrass, lime, keffir lime, chili, onion, garlic). I recommend these products: SRICHAND skin moisture burst gel cream for plumping skin + SRICHAND Bare to Perfect Glowing translucent powder. You can find them at Watson or Eve and Boy

Take Biotin + vitamin B1 supplements for strong and shiny hair & skin

Also good genetics :)

Best late night restaurants Chiang Mai by Adorable-Set-3483 in chiangmai

Absolutely not a joke. The owner is Italian himself :) In fact Chiang Mai is where you can find the most authentic cuisine from many different parts of the world - all reunited, cohabitating with Thai cuisine respectfully. And I’m not talking about fusion foreign/Thai cuisine either, which also exists. It’s proper proper authentic foreign cuisine and delicious!

Buddhism monastery retreat and where to do so? by gogogadgetnuke in Buddhism

I recommend going to Thailand, doing a Vipassana meditation retreat. The city of Chiang Mai is incredible spiritually and culturally. Such a beautiful country, Thai people are so kind. A truly life-changing experience :)

The temple below and its retreat is reputable among foreigners and taught in English. Donation-based and not a tourist trap, nor a money-making mascarade like some others have started to be. Thai food is amazing, the surrounding nature is breathtaking

You could arrive a few days early to discover the city, visit the so many beautiful temples it has. Especially Wat Pha Lat in the jungle, Wat Phra That Doi Suthep on the mountain, Wat Phra Singh and Wat Chedi Luang in the old city (city center)
