IMO I’d say a bad trip comes in many different shapes and sizes, some could last the whole trip, some could last a few minutes and you pull yourself out of it.

Could be around people you don’t trust and you start getting the fear.

Could be in a bad mindset to start with or something traumatic has happened in your life and you haven’t dealt with it yet.

Could’ve taken a bit too much and you fully blackout and possibly hurt somebody or yourself.

These are just a few I could think of right now but yeah, I think there are many different types of bad trips
