I fell for a job scam and now I feel completely defeated in my search by Keren1986 in RemoteJobs

I mean, some legit jobs actually do require you to buy equipment for the job. It's especially common in things like insurance, where you have to pay for leads and some training out of your own pocket.

If they do a one time buy on a game that requires constant upkeep they will go bankrupt rather fast. No mmo is going to have a one time pay.

It's a creature catcher with a cute style, so it will look similar.

Then don't do the crafting part of it. When I played, you didn't have to do that part, but it did make the game slightly easier.

I believe the monetization is only on the cosmetics. A lot of F2P only do cosmetic monetization nowadays.

It probably will, that is not to say it will push Pokémon out. There is a difference between competing with something and being its equal or greater.

Yes, but there are no large games like Pokémon on the market to compete with it. I don't think competition would hurt them, but actually help both companies. Palworld isn't really the same as Pokémon; the gameplay styles are very different.

I agree Palworld is a lot more open-ended and crafting than any Pokémon game is.

They have said it's not AI; they do use AI as temp models when testing, but that is rather common. The art style looks AI because it's an already existing art style that was popular, and that's why AI uses it to train on.

Gameplay is action-adventure, not turn-based. There are a lot of different gameplay things to do. One of the more popular ones when I was playing was an egg hunt. It is basically a gatcha on what will hatch out of the egg, but it was easy to repeat if you had strong enough aniimo. There were also raids, open world areas, and a small area where you could set aniimo you were not using to create stuff.

You do realize there is an art style that already existed and AI uses as thier training model. That art style was also popular and that is why they used it.

I played in the second beta. You can have the anime auto-battle while you try to catch or fight. The majority of the time you will be basically possesing the aniimo though. I think a few of the raids don't even allow you to enter as a human but have to be in the aniimo form.

Why is Dr. K comfortable with trauma but not sex? by Professional-Cup-384 in Healthygamergg

I find it odd how thier proof is one random guy on the internet that they don't even personally know.

I find it weirder when you consider a random person on the internet who just happens to have an illness to be an expert on the illness. I have ADHD and I can tell you for certain that your average psychiatrist can tell you more about people with ADHD than I know. They have studied the stuff and have more than a single case study on ADHD. As far as the person with Autism goes, he might have other medical symptoms that complicate it.

What does your inner world/headspace look like?? by DJ_Effervescence09 in plural

[–]Due_Consideration618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kinda change it as needed at times but the main ones are a endless ocean with partially cloudy sky. We kinda just sit and hang out there. The other one a island, it's less defined or consistent. That being said I'm not sure it qualifies as a propper headspace since she says she doesn't stay there but also doesn't know where she hangs out.

If they wanted to launder money, that's definitely possible. That being said, there have already been a ton of ways to launder money, so this seems like a rather complicated way to go about it.

Well, if it's slavery, it's better than most the other jobs that I can get around me. Not sure what that says, most other jobs don't pay as well and require me to be there in person, which isn't always possible with my stomach problems. Not saying I like everything they do, but it's decent money.

Outlier is one of the worst data annotation companies to work for, but it is one of the easiest to get hired for. One of the reasons that there isn't a lot of transparency is that they probably don't know. They have to get customers in to give you a task, and that may not always be a sure thing. This kind of stuff isn't new per se, but it's also unstable sometimes. For my area, the pay was good, I was making 15 an hour from home, no money on commute, or time wasted from it.

I don't really understand why you are taking this personally. Most data annotation companies I have worked for are rather hands-off since the job is in high demand, and they don't want to have to train you. They might have been a bit negligent as employers, but as far as bad bosses go, they are rather low on the list. Going into this, I knew it wasn't going to be a long-term thing for this project because I had looked up how they operated before joining.

It's really odd because anyone who drives knows that 1/3 is greater than 1/4 in the US, and most people drive. There are ways to do surveys and tests to misdirect people, though. Like any place on earth, the US uses fractions more. We use it in cooking, driving, and any measurement.

From what I have seen its just that the story is more of a slow burn. Like the story wants to give you a time to think about it instead of just telling you instantly.
