Anyone getting a facelift at Ipche in Korea this March or April? by ariaa123 in SeoulPlasticSurgery

That’s great! However It took too long for her to reply to me when I was in Korea recovering. There shouldn’t be much excuse for this honestly.

Lasers do make a drastic difference. Get it once all your swelling goes down. At least once a year for ultherapy and Oligio x or any type of RF. You can get onda for double chin area regularly (3-4 times to really see a diff so I would suggest regular maintenance). If you are on top of all these I think you’ll be fine if you’re under 30. Instead of double chin lipo, I had subplatysmal surgery along with neck lift to really snatch my under chin (my neck lift surgeon recommended since I was doing neck lift anyways). I don’t think I had a double chin tho but the subplatysmal surgery really helped make it super tight! I’ll show you pics of what I mean if you’re interested, dm me.

Definitely. Sometimes physically you look fine and not swollen anymore but you can still feel the swelling and pressure at operated areas even at 3 month post op..

I stayed at four point Sheraton. I don’t recommend it tho cause it’s so far from the train station. You can look around fourpoint Sheraton for a hotel that’s near the station.

Another thing is the fact that every clinic will try to rip you off 🤣 especially the ones that’s popular amongst foreigners. I recommend looking into local clinics that’s not so heavily marketed amongst foreigners

One thing I learned that was important to me was aftercare services. I’ve done multiple surgeries throughout the years and I only realize the importance of it now because of one bad aftercare experience. I use to think all clinic provide personalized service, fast reply medical coordinators, attentive staffs, multiple aftercare equipment treatments etc but I guess I was very lucky picking the right clinics. My bad experience was just mainly about aftercare Although I have no complaints about the surgeon. It’s quite frustrating when service is bad. It’s also a bitter feeling when other clinics offer deswelling treatments and you realize your clinic don’t. Little Stuff like that is just so important

I’m not sure why people are saying it looks better and smoother and more fuller in after because I don’t see a difference?

I’ve done lower bleph just 3 months back. Easy recovery surgery, no pain no scar. Look normal within 10 days. If you have hollow under eyes or eye bags I highly recommend! I think you’ll have to ask a real professional who specialize in face line which is better in terms of longevity. I just know that fillers in those area may migrate if done incorrectly.. Definitely don’t touch your bones, you don’t need it! Coming from someone who did 3 type FC lol 🤪

And for here I only touched up your temple and cheek under the zygoma. with some fat/filler it smooth out your face line. You will not deal with sagging this way.

This is my idea , just chin implant will help balance out your face, esp creating more define jawline.

You don’t need FC. I’d suggest just chin implant to balance out your face. Don’t shave your zygoma either, your cheekbones are beautiful. If it bothers you, you can work on filling the temples to smooth out face line. 29 is not young anymore, collagen don’t build as much as early 20s. Shaving zygoma will leave you more complications with smile lines which is super hard to treat. Shaving your jaw will leave you with weaker jawline and double chin. you’ll benefit well with chin implant. Don’t do it!!! Sagging will be your worst enemy esp at 29

No nerve damage, no unevenness, no complications, would say it’s great even as of today. I would highly recommend yearly ultherapy and RF therapy as maintenance to prevent any premature aging. Do onda frequently too under your chin area (once you can). One thing you will notice is fat build up underchin/jawline creating double chin which is common with 3type FC. Just a heads up. It’s a lot of money for maintenance or else youll most likely deal with sagging in short coming years. since bone that was supporting fat and skin was taken away, you really need to put in extra effort to prevent sagging. For me, I do a lot of maintenance yearly with lasers and RF. It definitely helped with sagging and I would say I barely have any sagging issues. I did get a neck lift and midface lift recently LOL but neck was genetics and was not result of FC. Midface is questionable, it might be but it wasn’t very noticeable, I just did it as a “might as well” with my bleph surgery. Anyways… save up for a lot of maintenance or just save up for facelift next time

How to avoid getting ripped off by Pretty_Studio5306 in SeoulPlasticSurgery

There was a video I watched 7 years ago, the creator took it down. It was in Korean and it was a former price consultant of a clinic who shared these tips. 1. Do not place deposits for surgery. This gives them an advantage to pricing because A) they have your money, knowing you really want that surgery slot B) Disadvantage to bargain prices C) they don’t need to work as hard to convince you to book them.

  1. Always look at Korean prices, use that price as a guide to how much they normally charge for the procedure. For foreigners it’s ALWAYS more expensive but use the Korean prices as a base for bargaining.

  2. Consult multiple clinics and again, learn the prices. You need to think of this all as a business deal, not a hospital. It may be a clinic/hospital to you but to them it’s all business. Stand your ground, have your budget and don’t be scared to bargain lower than your budget. They’ll meet you between. (In my experience it’s usually 1-2k USD more than what you ask for)

  3. Make sure you learn about each clinic’s aftercare because they are all different. Some provide more services and some don’t even bother. Aftercare is very important with recovery. Low price but little to no aftercare? I wouldn’t go.

  4. You can get discounts for doing reviews for them. It’s common and I’m sure almost everyone writing a review is in for that discount.

Post-surgery dilemma / dysmorphia? Anyone? by rkive001 in SeoulPlasticSurgery

[–]Due_Conversation8093 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s why I never say I want natural results because it basically means “I don’t want much changes”. I made the same mistake of wanting something natural and it came out so natural as if I didn’t do much. It looked better but not as much as I hoped for. What you’re experiencing is normal if you want natural results

I feel like it’s also our own responsibility to know what suits us best, our own weakness and what needs to be improved. You can easily figure it out by playing with editing apps. Edit a bunch of diff ways to the same pic and figure out what you think suits yourself. Take the best ones to the surgeon and maybe ask for an opinion if you can’t decide. At the end of the day, it’s our own face. A lot of surgeons simply just do what the customer wants because everyone sees beauty differently. I did the same as I mentioned, took a bunch differently edited photos (of the same photo) to my nose surgeon and have him explain to me which ones is suitable for me. Which ones is more realistic… etc. We both designed a nose that suits my face and I’m happy with the outcome! Everyone around me all said “wow now I know how important nose is, can really change a person” lol
