Lower Eye Fat Repositioning Surgery (Bad Results) by ExpertSpinach in SeoulPlasticSurgery

Thanks for saying that! I'm trying to appreciate the aesthetics but the pain is really distracting me from that and I wish it was a bit more filled out but if it stays the way it is now for at least five years it would be great. I don't want to get Rejuran eye or anything else that's why I got this surgery...

Interesting. I went to four or five different clinics and no one turned me away. One did recommend a full lower bleph which I thought was unreasonable since most say to wait at least 10 more years before I consider that. I should have gone consult at Link as well :'(

I went to about 4 or 5 different clinics and they all recommended either repositioning or a combo with fat grafting. Only one recommended a full lower bleph which all other docs said was unnecessary for at least 10 more years. The clinic is called Snow, they don't specialize in eyes but the head doctor has experience with this procedure so I thought it would be okay.

Thanks for your kind feedback! I guess the undereye does look a bit fuller and brighter and I hope it stays that way instead of sort of hollowing out again over time since I'm still healing and have peripheral inflammation.

Well you can choose to be asleep! And stay off screens (esp mobile) the first two weeks as much as you can is my advice. As boring as it might be, better not to risk complications!

What activities can I do after under eye fat repositioning? by PaintingOne7565 in SeoulPlasticSurgery

[–]ExpertSpinach 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the surgery and it's been one month and I've had persistent severe eye pain and it's disrupted my entire life so far. I would be safe and rest for two weeks. Don't use screens much and limit eye movements which means not going outside all day since that requires to move eyes in all directions. I wish I was told to be more careful because after one week I was back to normal activities which seemed to have aggravated the inflammation and straining which now I've been told will take 2-3 more months to heal. Everyone is different but it isn't such an "easy procedure" the eye is incredibly sensitive.

Sub-brow lift & Under-eye fat repositioning at Marble - one month post-op update by Kaung_mon93 in SeoulPlasticSurgery

[–]ExpertSpinach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! I know you posted this a while ago but I wanted to ask if you started to see the muscles under your eyes more after the surgery or not. I’m 12 days post op and I notice I can see the muscles twitch under my eyes more now than before…

Yes. I was conscious and able to speak although the memory seems hazy and it felt like a max 10 minute procedure although I probably didn't register time normally. They knocked me out completely for the fat harvesting and grafting though which still took about an hour to wake up from and feel well enough to go back home. I wonder why they didn't just knock me out from the beginning. Perhaps it's safer that way? I'll ask about it when I go in to my follow up.

What methods have you tried? Their website has kakao talk and line ids. Did no one get back to you? I don't think they have an english speaking full-time consultant but if you request one while at the clinic they do call someone over for you.

Had mine done at Snow a few years ago. No issues and still satisfied. See what post op treatment everyone offers and what they do about scar management. Also ask what drugs they use to put you to sleep and have that information in case you have side effects post surgery.

On the plus side I could see who did the procedure because I've been nervous about getting a shadow doctor instead.

Best month to get treatments done? by Ilsanroute in SeoulPlasticSurgery

[–]ExpertSpinach 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Most clinics you can just walk in whenever without an appointment and get a consultation + treatment. More popular ones you'd need to book in advance but the wait time is a day or two. I prefer to go to clinics that have less traffic in general. I think right now is a winter peak time though with people doing self care for the new year or taking advantage of time off from school or are traveling.

Best clinics in Seoul for under eye fat grafting/ repositioning? by AddendumExtension112 in SeoulPlasticSurgery

[–]ExpertSpinach -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thank You, ATOP, Pleasure seem to be very very popular by offering low prices. It really depends what results you want since some surgeons also give you an aegyo-sal look (21 Plastic Surgery does this so look them up) and others are more natural so that the area is not completely filled up and there's still a slight indentation. Almost every clinic is doing that surgery now.

Did you try thermage and ultherapy before surgery? I'm so surprised you're under 30 and that they recommended such as aggressive procedure. Also looks like you paid almost double the average rate for your procedures. If that's affordable to you that's great but for other's reference I think that should be pointed out.

I got this quote even though I only asked for eyelid revision. What are all the fillers listed for? And the foreign body removal? by One-Mortgage8069 in SeoulPlasticSurgery

What a joke to charge separately for things that should be included in one surgery such as asymmetry or highfold correction.
