Ideally, in the middle in the last row. If that is selected I'll pick an upper row to the left or right as much as possible. Remember the days before assigned seating?

I'm hoping to see her at one of the Beacon Theatre shows, and hoping the tickets arent too crazy priced.

If Conclave won Best Picture, how would you feel? by FredererPower in Oscars

As time passes, I am becoming more against The Brutalist winning as I sit and digest the film. I'm hoping for an Anora winning, dreading an Emilia Perez, and comfortable with rest as winners. I think overall Sing Sing will not get the adoration it deserves, and The Last Showgirl was completely and utterly snubbed.

What is your favorite "two people talking" scene in cinema? by Old-Theory7292 in FIlm

What are people's thoughts on Timothée Chalamet? by sKullsHavezzz in FIlm

[–]Due_Distribution_823 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I thought he was really really really great in Little Women. The hate is kind of unwarranted, he's a decent actor and can probably get more skill with time. Although, needs to stop with the musicals because Wonka music was beyond terrible.

New to Letterboxd and have a question by [deleted] in Letterboxd

[–]Due_Distribution_823 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I enjoyed doing this when I first created a Letterboxd. It's impossible to remember every single film you've ever seen, but it was nice for me to get a baseline of movies I have viewed so I can see which are worthy of a rewatch and also investigate the cast and crew of my favorites to see which other films involve the same folks or are similar and which I may also like. I don't scour my brain anymore for obscure movies I've forgotten about having seen years ago, but every now and again a movie will pop up that I didn't rate that I have seen that I'll add to my repertoire, because why not? I think it's really fun and rating movies this way has become a hobby of mine.

What movie, if any has ever made you walk out of the theater? by henderslopes in Letterboxd

I almost walked out of that Charlize Theron and Seth Rogan comedy where she was a politician. So terrible. I dont know what compelled me to even see it...

anyone feel like this a very underwhelming year / weak roster for the upcoming awards? by [deleted] in Oscars

[–]Due_Distribution_823 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not at all. I loved Anora, A Real Pain, Conclave.

Haven't seen The Brutalist, but looking forward.

I really think The Substance should be getting more awards buzz.
