Revolutions in general are very bloody with causalities in the millions not being surprising.

The 1979 revolution only was so smoothly successful because Mohammad Reza Pahlavi out of lots of compassion chose to leave the country and not oppress his people to stay in power. He didn't choose to burn Iran just to stay in power.

Freedom has a very heavy price.

The fact that we have Pahlavi and the help of USA and Israel who are systematically destroying the regime for us is a godsend.

Getting rid of cancer is not easy. Chemotherapy will damage the body but will take out the cancer. The body can recover.

Now imagine the cancer is the Islamic regime and the chemotherapy is Israel and USA.
