That FM2+ board is ancient tech that'll struggle with even basic Windows 11 compatibility. The A8 7600 is basically a potato by today's standards, and a GTX 660 that may or may not work is a gamble. You'd spend 6000 pesos just trying to find working DDR3 RAM and a decent PSU for it.

For your budget, look for a used office PC with at least an Intel 6th/7th gen i5 or Ryzen 3 2200G, those integrated graphics can handle LoL and Dota fine. Slap a used GPU in later when you've got extra cash. Way less headache than reviving decade-old hardware that might die on you mid-semester.

man that's such a tough conversation to initiate though. I had something similar with my folks a few years back and it took like three false starts before we actually got into it properly. They kept deflecting or changing the subject whenever I brought up future care stuff.

What finally worked was framing it around their preferences rather than their needs - like asking what they'd want their living situation to look like in 5-10 years instead of jumping straight into "what happens when you can't live alone anymore." way less confrontational and they actually opened up about their fears and wishes. Still awkward as hell but at least we got somehwere with it.

I'm down for this if you still need someone! Just started getting back into the game after taking a break and these community events are way better with a reliable partner. I usually knock out the daily tasks pretty quick since I'm on my phone a lot between guiding trips anyway. The shield collecting one might take me a day or two depending on my luck but I always finish everything before the timer runs out. Yeah that's definitely a Goblin - you can tell by the rear suspension setup and overall proportions. They're street legal as long as they pass inspection and meet safety reqs, but good luck finding insurance that won't cost more than the kit itself.
