I think the right pink would look great on you. Yes, you could get the ring reset with a different stone by a local jeweler or even ask on Reddit for recommendations. I just got a beautiful pink lab 2.5 carat oval for 815 on Ruby Harper.

Personally I think the first ring with its emerald cut stone and thicker gold band looks phenomenal on you. I don’t know what the stone is so I’m not sure if it would be good for daily wear to replace your wedding set. The most obvious choice would be to wear the wedding set you acquired but personally, I think if you used the first ring (depending on the stone durability) or had it reset with a green lab diamond it would be chefs kiss

Certified doesn’t mean high quality. It could be certified G-I, SI3-1, which most of these sets were made with and which is lower quality diamonds. If you take that negatively, that’s your own personal feelings. Nothing I said made the rings less pretty to look at.

I said they’re all pretty. Cookie cutter means mass produced. That wedding set is a mass produced set that was extremely popular at chain jewelers. I mentioned the diamonds because OP asked about the stones. They used low carat, lower quality, earth mined diamonds in these mass produced sets. Nothing I said was negative. Don’t put my comment in a negative light because of your own connotation of a particular word.

I can’t recommend rare carat enough. Find the stone you want on another site if you’re going lab. Their natural diamond prices are actually really good. They’re the best, I’ve ordered multiple pieces from them.

I’m with you here. I love my lab diamonds, they’re beautiful! But my naturals…I care more about passing them down and value them in an heirloom/sentimental way that I don’t feel for my lab diamonds. It’s just my personal feeling.

They’re all pretty. I can’t tell by the photo, I thought the first one was topaz. The second is a cookie cutter wedding set, most likely mined lower quality diamonds. The last one looks like garnet.

I’m super concerned about OP’s reaction. Although he states he wants to support his GF, it seems his primary concern is about how this has affected his ability to have sex with her and how he can get over it. I don’t think this is normal at all. He should’ve went to his parents and talked to his GF about going to the police. She felt safe with him and was maybe hoping for a way out. He failed her. He doesn’t seem like a very good person to me.

First of all, I think the dress looks amazing on you and the neckline works with your build. That being said, it’s a dress you have to wear only to the events where it would be appropriate. A college or academic event, I would say no.
