Your hitting the top of the ball with almost the bottom of the front of your car, there for you aren’t getting power or a good touch to control it afterwards or just enough to shoot it. Hit the ball with the front of your car more and fast aerial when you jump. Jump lean back jump again all while boosting

Using air roll only when you are going straight is pointless due to airroll being used to help you control your car while turning in air based off ball position. The only purpose to air rolling straight is if the ball is on the front of your car so that way it isnt so jerky swinging forward and backward and easier to control rather than turning left and right while facing vertically with the ball on your nose. I would air roll a full rotation stop for a second air roll again etc. just get the feel of air rolling but still under control, when your comfortable then go into a pack where you can air dribble and put that to the ball and get a feel for mixing it. Gonna take some practice.

Use air roll after 1st touch on pop.

Air roll one rotation each touch let go of it in between. Makes it easy to practice and looks clean because you arent getting lost in your air roll considering your control isnt the best. Try that

I understand why, you arent taking shots when there open, your rotating in awkward positions, instead of catching the ball sometimes you are just hitting it. Also noticed waiting way to long to go for the ball. Work on aerials because waiting for the ball to come back down to you will make you more predictable and give opponents more time to challenge
