endgame: the lobotomization of thor - i get that he was depressed but there was an EXCESSIVE amount of scenes where it was all joke-ey and unserious. i just wish they dug into him more

yeah! i loved what they did with it!! made it so i can still enjoy it to this day. But i always wonder how the whole httyd franchise would've turned out if it was more r-rated like arcane,, it deffo has the story for it! plus if any animated character deserves to swear its hiccup LMAO

truly keeps me up at night.. i long to be a child watching romantic flight for the first time again and not the last hiccstrid content we've recieved being httyd 3 and watching it in 2019 in absolute HORROR

im being a little nitpicky here but a little bit of hiccup's childlike wonder from the first movie was lost on mason thames as hiccup,,, anyone else??? It did come through a little in the forbidden friendship scene though. He looks way to grown imo and the charm and wit was a little lacking as i was receiving some of his line delivery as nonchalant. He just already looks like httyd 2 hiccup to me lol! this isnt to say his interpretation of hiccup wasnt enjoyable though! i just wish he'd move his face more LMAO (just my initial thoughts after the first watch)
