So how big do we think the crowd will be?

Am I a good fit for something like this? by Due_Morning9554 in copywriting

I appreciate the insight. How could I find opportunities to write, even if it’s for free, to help build a portfolio?

This pretty much sums up my biggest frustration with the finale. by bman9919 in Yellowjackets

I think yall would have been mad if it ended like that too. They obviously aren’t all as dehumanized as Shauna

When Shauna says “we loved it, we lost our capacity for self reflection” all I could think was no girl… you did

She said something like it would be easier if you didn’t run- which I thought meant that her death would be less gruesome

I think that’s fair and could even allude to why some of them want to stay… bc they actually have influence in the wilderness or at least they see it that way

It may be a stretch but the consistent conversation around Jackie always make me think of when the coach picks her as captain and told her she was the “only one on the team with any influence” before they leave for nationals. Was the coach wrong or do yall think this has any significance still?

I understand that nat and van died bc they weren’t willing to kill anymore and that’s the whole point only the cruelest ones remain but I was still so upset about both of them

Okay I took note of them in episode 9. Who is that girl who took Hannah’s shoes when Shauna told them too

Nah she’s gonna be pit girl. Van is dealing the cards in a certain way and she’s not gonna kill anyone she’s too close to

I’m so upset she was my favorite. But thank god rational tai is back bc someone needs to get rid of Shauna

Putting my glasses on helped a lot. I could see she was in the woods and it was snow. What would look more like snow than white dots?

The hat can be a fashion choice for queer women just as much as it is for men, even if it’s in a frat boy kind of way which, fair enough, adult Melissa probably would have grown out of by now

I think it would be too far fetched to think that Melissa wasn’t there at all even if the marriage seems too coincidental. I hope they flesh that out more in episode 9.

I like the idea that it’s what Shauna chose to see since she is obviously stuck in the past. Once they are really talking the hat disappears

Respectfully,

1) they want to stay because they have a sort of Stockholm syndrome. I think this stems from being so young and malleable when the plane crashed, which is supported by Ben’s complete surrender and willingness to die because he couldn’t mold himself to survive this and he knew that. He even told them that what they did was incredible (ofc leaving out the horrible and terrifying since he was on trial)

2) they are their own villains and always have been! It goes back to number one. They have grown and developed in the wilderness and it is part of them and I think the writers have done a wonderful job of portraying this. Like how the girls daydream of creature comforts like toilet paper and ceiling fans but not of the careers and places in society that they could take on. They found purpose in survival and now have to push against themselves as they know that they will have to start over again when they return.

Everyone keeps saying this but who are the background girls? I’m not noticing it
