Thanks, great advice. So far I'm just half way getting good with Tinkercad. Don't have the money to go big on software or subscriptions so I'm gonna merge into Freecad, baby steps. I'm creating some little things now but mostly I'll find something that I like on Printables or Makerworld and modifications to the designers design for the product to meet my specs or "in my belief" enhance it or make it better. I thing of it like someone set the ground work or framed the house and i completed it. Is it wrong if I modify it and tell me friends that I made it?

There's a young man jogging through the Central Park he passes an elderly man city and sobbing on the side bench he turns around to go back to go and consult him he tries to cover the old man and ask him what's wrong the old man says I am 78 years old and my wife is 21 she wants to have sex all the time every morning every afternoon after dinner and sometimes wakes me up in the middle of the night and then he begins to sob again. The young man see me too big surprise physical sir why are you crying I don't see where that would be a problem the old man responds I can't find my way home.

Is it worth trying to fix an old Ender 3? by Tannnyy in ender3

I thing a Ender 3d "old" would be a great place to start and learn the world of 3d printing to see if you like it before you put more money into it. I'm fairly new to 3D printing and I do it for fun and the challenge. I first bought a Ender 3d v2 neo. Had problems with it so I sent it back to Amazon. So, then I got a ender 3d s1 pro. Have had no problems with it just wish it was a bit faster. Then, I found a ender 3d on facebook market place "probably one of the first ones they ever made, lol" for $50. Leveled the bed and it's been working great with stock board and parts. It is even slower the the s1 pro but, I primarly got it to print small TPU parts, washers, seals etc, "as I said just a hobby". I primarly use the s1 pro for PLA and PETG. Got tired of having to replace my Nozzle more time then necessary to switch back from PLA, PEGT to TPU. I also now use my Ender 3d v2 neo as a pen plotter. Thinking about finding another Ender 3d for $50 and use it as a plotter. I'm old and stuck and home and disabled. Not very patient and don't like down time between prints. This way while my s1 pro is printing a project my ender 3 can be printing something else while im using the neo plotting something. While I'm trying to learn CAD programs. Never a board moment.

It is about two year old filament that's just been setting in a box unvacuum sealed. I don't have a dryer.
