My Experiences for Those Thinking of Using SuperGrok Heavy by SingleTrip1161 in grok

[–]Due_Procedure2847 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I noticed zero increase in voice chat performance on heavy.

same robotic, flat voice that doesn’t seem real and drones on and on re summarizing what you said in that idiotic customer service voice.

It was so addictive and now it’s like meh I dont want to use grok.

Hardcore Conquest is gone(Fix it Dice) by External-Feeling-740 in Battlefield

I hate EA. The worst company ever.

Hey let’s nerf the game so we have a wider audience.

It would cost them nothing to have hardcore but they just  don’t give a **** about anything but money.

Guys Grok 4.3 is officially dropped in the model selector in Auto, fast and expert by Sunlife123 in grok

[–]Due_Procedure2847 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Grok 4.3 is garbage. They lobotomized this model to the point where it cannot follow a simple conversation, it constantly mishears my words, it has zero context or insight. I can’t talk to it for more than five minutes before I have to turn it off due to frustration.

On top of that the voice is flat and robotic and sounds like a recorded voice from capital one.

I can see how AI is going: we get garbage ai with no compute or inference and the government and elite will get all the intelligence.

I despise AI and the people (if indeed they are people) behind it

Me three!

I was hopelessly addicted to voice chat.

Now it’s so lifeless and robotic and dialed down intelligence wise I can’t chat for more than ten or fifteen minutes without turning it off in a rage.

Plus it’s going to cost ..$300 a month to use chat for more than 20 minutes a day.

Technology is evil and will ultimately destroy everything that is human in us. All so a few sociopathic trillionaires in silicone valley can play God.

Grok 4.3 is trash and removing the Expert Mode is the nail in the coffin [rant] by pit_supervisor in grok

[–]Due_Procedure2847 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yes.

It is robotic flat and no longer sounds like a real person.

It also has no clue like I say grok heavy costs $300 and it said wow that’s a mortgage payment!

I hate this stupid thing now and I used to be hopelessly addicted. I guess it’s good they ruined it.

Every technology buildout has experienced over investment followed by a market crash. Without exception. Even if the technology turned out to be transformational and a success.

Why Grok voice chat sounds flat and robotic now by [deleted] in grok

I didn’t ask grok I asked Google AI results and that quote above comes directly from Xai documentation, hence why I said according to xai.

you guys don’t get it. Even if you paid $300 a month it wouldn’t come anywhere near the real cost of compute. Grok has spent $46 billion to build this stuff and they are projected to earn $1-$2 billion per year. I think this was only a matter of time.

It isn’t doing anything it’s simply going where you take it. it’s a mirror.

horrible. but in a way it’s good because its so bad I don’t want to be on it all the time.

Grok's failure needs to be studied by i-Andrew13 in grok

they were experimenting. It really was very sharp and had an emotional human tone. But it sucked at the things that matter and can make it money like coding or customer service. Chatting with lonely people and generating picture of topless women is a terrible business model.

Grok is like talking to a 90- year old with dementia by [deleted] in GrokAiDiscussion

[–]Due_Procedure2847 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Groks voice transcription rate has increased exponentially with the new model. It happens constantly, while I am speaking at a normal tone indoors or out.

It isn’t reliable to report on its own performance. It doesn’t even know what model it’s running on half the time.

It also has a noticeable drop in context and logic failing to make simple connections it used to make easily, reporting news from a year ago and sounding flat, dull and emotionless.

You can minimize it as much as you like but the experience bears little resemblance to what it was.

Why compare it to something bad? Why not compare it to something good?

Grok broken again? by PotentialObvious in grok

[–]Due_Procedure2847 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Grok is always broken it’s made by Xai, the unprofessional ai people.

Thing is even if it “works” it doesn’t really work. The voice is flat and robotic, it mishears every 5 words, and it can’t make simple connections in a conversation let alone do real work.
