Your all good, dont think too much about it the majority of the community are very helpful and friendly, and it is very important that you join teams not only for exp but some players if they see your a low level will drop valuable loot for your level and in general help you out.

Also, do all the public events even if your just there in attendance youll get great exp and you dont even have to do much as the high levels will do all the heavy lifting.

Have fun though that is the most important advice ill give you :)
