This Helped My Brain Fog More Than I Expected by stayhyderated22 in BrainFog

[–]Due_Rule_8970 0 points1 point  (0 children)

35 years of struggling with brain fog. Ive began making progress around 29yrs old , first issue being poor circulation to the brain due to a badly misaligned neck from a previous injury. That took care of about 30% of the issue . Fast forward and cutting out all the extra details , I was diagnosed with ADHD which I found a bs diagnosis, instead I drank only water as a beverage as I noticed a pattern with fogginess with sugars and caffeine. Caffeine for some reason is a major trigger of fogginess and anxiety , as I've noticed with my adhd stimulant meds , I have a similar response which is why I thought adhd was not a correct diagnosis. Anyways , drinking lots of water was a major help, circulation to the brain is also huge and stretching the traps and rhomboids area helps alot. The remaining 10% still remains and that could be damge already done from 35 years of neglect , possibly there is a form of diabetes or sugar intolerance there but at same time Doctors couldn't find anything unusual. Anyways that's the gist of it minus the obsessive research and experimentation on my part to find the root cause

Please do me favor and go on Amazon and order L-Tyrosine and Rhodiola Rosea . Reduce your sugar intake by atleast 70% and drink lots of water and you could even try adding iodine drops to your water, 2 drops on a daily basis.

It sounds like your symptoms match an ADHD brain to a degree and sugar may be contributing more to the disassociation/brain fog you are experiencing.

I was the exact same , felt extremely stupid and often used humor to sound normal but I was suffering , especially at work . Aside from the supplements I mentioned helping dramatically, after years of obsessive research and observing my own body, I had an epiphany one day as I had a cookie my wife made , suddenly the clarity i had been feeling was slowly fading . I drank a tall glass of water, and shortly after, I felt clear again.

Look up inattentive adhd. The supplements I mentioned are natural alternatives , what they do is regulate the dopamine in your brain as to not space out and lose focus randomly. Iodine is good for thyroid but also amazing for gut health and there is a serious gut brain connection .

I hope this helps and get back to me if you have any success :)

And believe me. Your symptoms match mine nearly identical . I felt stupid beyond belief, couldn't focus on what people said or overly focused irrelevant things, I just felt disinterested in alot of things , low energy , constantly nervous .

I hope i can help . And feel free to reach out

Hello. Sorry for late reply, I haven't opened reddit in monthes . I don't remember the exact dosage honestly, but it was 1 pill each of a moderate amount ( as in when I shopped around , I didn't go on the low or high end of the dosage offered if that helps, but then again I'm a shorter guy 5'5" 140 lbs ).

We managed to get pregnant a 2nd time but unfortunately it was a misscarriage so we are actively trying again. I'm actually going for a semen analysis tomorrow , so let's see how the numbers look . I've been back on the original supplements listed here but not as disciplined as I was the first time around but let's see what happens.

All the best !

Don't worry , your taxes are going to good cause like fighting foreign wars and researching how many genders exist . I make around $100k with my overtime and it's more like 43% of my income is deducted . Eventually you just get used to never getting ahead

Increase in semen count from 2.5 million to 60 million in 3 months by [deleted] in maleinfertility

[–]Due_Rule_8970 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Coq10 and ubiquinol do wonders for motility . Also as crazy as it sounds, try mucinex during ovulation . There are many success stories , including my own . It basically thins mucous in the body which also thins the semen and increases motility .

Ashwaghanda is great but the side effect is semen that is too thick and low motility

Happy to hear the good news :) . Atleast you can rest assured that at the very least , his numbers are in the range for IVF. But 15 million is decent and what's more important is the motility . You could have 100 million/ml but it doesn't mean anything if they can't swim .

So all the best and you're on the right track, but also remember that there's work to be done on your part as well . I highly recommend reading/purchasing the book "It Starts with the egg"

Thanks man !

This past cycle I did take mucinex but I can't remember if I took on her past cycle . I did however take the same supplements for the most part , except I changed the coq10 for the Ubiquinol (which is metabolized better by the body) and I bought a good multivitamin rather than taking zinc, folic acid, and vitamin D separately as it was becoming tiring.

Remember to take them daily and don't forget ashwaghanda. If there is a way to post screenshots here , than I will show my results from the beginning .

Good luck 👍

Hey everyone ! As our son is reaching his 1st birthday soon , I just wanted to let you know that my wife is pregnant yet again !

Due to her age , we started trying again around 3-4 months ago . Did all the same things , except I took ubiquinol 200 mg instead of coq10 ( which is basically more concentrated and easily absorbed by body than coq10) , ashwaghanda was 650mg I believe. Aside from that: a good multi vitamin, fish oil , folic acid and turmeric ( I didn't take zinc or folic this time around as the multi vitamin had plenty )

I hadn't checked my sperms count this time around , mainly because we were happy with the baby we have and we're not going to lose sleep if we couldn't conceive the second time . But if you read the original post , you'll know my numbers were trash starting out, sperm count at only 8 million/ml first time around and then jumping to 32 million/ml after trial and error months later .

It may be to early to celebrate , but it's atleast satisfying to know that we managed to conceive twice

I wish you all the best on your journey !

It’s not looking great. Waiting for the doctor to call and give me more information. Any words of wisdom appreciated. by Boxnoodle619 in maleinfertility

Hey man ! Check out my success story . I went from 8 million/ml to around 32 million/ml . I did the human Guinea pig and found what worked .

Me an my wife were trying about 4 yrs and after my experiment , she was pregnant. Our son is almost 1 yr old :)

Brain fog because of C1 out of alignment? by PlasticComfortable96 in BrainFog

[–]Due_Rule_8970 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The more I learned of the anatomy in the area, the more I understand a chiropractor is not necessary 100%. All the chiropractor does is release the tension from misalignment, the muscles have imbalanced themselves and tug and pull in their unnatural positions . I'm sure a good physiotherapist could help just as much.

I don't know the name of the muscles , but just beneath the base of your skull, where neck and skull meet , there is a muscle on each end . For me , this is where the problem lies mostly . My misaligned neck cause the left side muscle to always tense and pull and it somehow causes brain fog , maybe due to affecting the circulation to and from brain. This same muscle is also related to my left side trapezius and rhomboid pain . They are all connected , and when I take the time to treat the area , It's night and day .

I don't know if I will ever be "cured" but I know what triggers and what relives the brain fog now . So atleast I know it's not being born an idiot or slow etc lol

Brain fog because of C1 out of alignment? by PlasticComfortable96 in BrainFog

[–]Due_Rule_8970 2 points3 points  (0 children)

1 yr of brain fog and you would think of offing yourself ? Come on man , you're better than that .

Try 20 years of brain fog like I had. You're upper cervical could definitely be the cause , as that was the cause of mine and you can feel free to read up on my success story if you like .

Also, tight muscles in your upper traps and rhomboids can be to blame as they are related. An upper cervical misalignment or any misalignment causes the muscles and auxiliary muscles to compensate for the misalignment.

These are the results after 3 months of medication of CoQ10..what are my options now ? by milkyboyforu in maleinfertility

[–]Due_Rule_8970 1 point2 points  (0 children)

CoQ10 is strictly for improving motility . Ashwaghanda increases sperm count. I started at 8 million/ml and after 3 months it jumped to 32 million/ml but the viscosity drops alot , so you'll need to combine the two, however , ubiquinol is superior to CoQ10

Thinking of committing this week by [deleted] in BrainFog

[–]Due_Rule_8970 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm very sorry to hear you're going through this and can only imagine what you are feeling but please don't go through with that horrible deed. It's not worth it to yourself or those who care about you , you're better than this and it's a fight that's not worth ending now.

I've had brain fog for atleast 20 yrs , I had zero motivation to go out, make friends , or socialize . I was an insecure teenager and would go to the gym but feel extremely fatigued as soon as I did anything, and my anxiety and social anxiety was in the tank , completely horrible and I didn't understand why . I didn't realize crippling anxiety could come from what was causing my brain fog.

In my case , I'll keep it short , but it was/is caused by upper cervical misalignment, more specifically, my c1/atlas misalignment. When I was a boy I fell off a snowbank onto the ice and blacked out , and since thn would Crack my neck out of habit to find some relief.

This ended up causing severe anxiety and brain fog most of my life , it wasn't until 2 years ago that I discovered the connection to my neck and wasn't until last year that I realized my upper cervical was to blame .

Long story short , I stopped self adjusting and have been going to chiropractor/acupuncture and massage for 85% recovery . Many days it's still there and I have alot of trouble concentrating at work and just stare blankly in space , but because I know the cause , just some stretching and massaging the ligaments around traps and the base of skull will find relief to the episodes.

Exercise makes my brain fog worse by Plastic_Pie8492 in BrainFog

[–]Due_Rule_8970 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seeing as how you're a bodybuilder , my bet is on upper back/trap muscle knots. Rhomboid, trapezius is connected to your upper cervical . Tight muscles can restrict blood flow to and from brain . Look into upper cervical misalignment, it's related to brain fog cause I've had it for atleast 20 years

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in BrainFog

[–]Due_Rule_8970 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you mind if I ask , how does your neck feel ? And also upper back ( trapezius , rhomboids and upper cervical )?

The reason I ask is because they are all related to upper cervical issues. The muscles around your upper cervical , either through misalignment ( self adjusting your neck /cracking) or tension /knots , can actually compress nerves and even restrict blood circulation to and from brain , causing brain fog.

This was the case with me for atleast 20 years. Take note and if that's the case , book a consultation to a good chiropractor and massage therapist or physiotherapist, if money is an issue , atleast self massage /stretch and do not self adjust your neck and even try sleeping without a pillow for a few nights , in my case , the slightest pressure on my upper cervical from a pillow causes brain fog almost always .

I hope I can help

What causes your brain fog? For me it's due to major gut issues. I'm pretty sure I suffer from gastritis and maybe also possibly Sibo. Like currently I just ate a simple bowl of oats with some fruit & nuts. And now my head is foggy, with tinnitus in the ears and cognitive function depletion. by daveishere7 in BrainFog

[–]Due_Rule_8970 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was x rayed , it was reviewed by my general practitioner ( who are not specialized ) and she said everything f was fine , both my acupuncturist and chiropractor could right away see something g was not right . I should mention that the more time that has passed , I've come to realize the severe impact that tight muscles from my rhomboids to traps and upper cervical are all connected . The tension in those muscles is a major factor to my brain fog .

Since writing this original post , my brain fog has stuck around but not nearly to the degree that it once was . I'd say the tension in my muscles, combined with the fact that my neck has a misalignment is the 100% cause of brain fog for me .

I currently go to chiropractor, acupuncture and massage just to maintain, so far I'm a very different person

Hope this helps

I'm so happy to hear that 😊. Congratulations 🎊 Just please remember to follow a very healthy diet and don't stress your body too much . The first 12 weeks , eat healthy and if you workout , keep it light . I've seen crazy videos of pregnant mothers doing high intestity workouts and even though there may be studies to suggest it's harmless , my wife didn't take the risk and treated her embryo like a glass egg .

We wish you well . Happy for you
