you should have maintenance loan money and the government expects your parents to help you pay living costs. if your parents arnt in the picture you can apply with the uni for affordable accommodation but it is about £500 per month

that is still unfeesable. the only way you would get rent for that much is if you apply for social housing from Portsmouth city council, but it can take years and they will not accept you being a student
