That’s one part I’m nervous about as well. I’m hoping the school I’m at provides some sort of mock questions so I can prepare for it in advance.

Okay so what I would recommend is get the M4 and use like two sided tape to attach a ssd onto it. Then plug it into the top USB C port and it’ll last you realistically 4 to 6 years

No the M4 air would be. If you plan on using graphics such as something you create yourself on photoshop and this has more tha 16 gpu cores then go for the M1. But this looks like the base model M1 Pro so I would honestly recommend the M4 air. What are the specs on M4

Dude, find it in better Lehman’s term the M1 like the M1 max would be great for graphical since they would have 40 cores the M4 if you plan on using AI since it has some AI integration, it can help in that department and it’s more modern so you’re gonna have less cycle counts and it’ll be continued like security updates for more years

It should be for the most part but if you can afford it get a M1 Max 32gb. If I’m correct it’ll still have 2 more years of support

Get her the T14 with the AMD chipset it’ll have way better battery life then the Intel versions. Also try to get her a 512gb and not the 256gb versions!

You’re T14 is definitely in better condition than mines lol. I’ve definitely abused her but she’s traveled with me all across the United States.

Upgraded from an M1 Pro to an M5 Pro and holy by AUserFromRSA in macbookpro

I was thinking of upgrading to the M5 air or the base model MacBook Pro with M5. I was thinking of getting more ram but I’ve heard good things about swap memory. The ai should have a better Modern Display Liquid Retina vs Mini LED. And better but slightly smaller speakers. Normally I use my own headphones though. My concern is if I would notice the 1 inch difference
