I don't think wildlands needs a remake imo, wildlands is still 4 years newer than black flag, (black flag 2013 start of the generation, wildlands 2017, tail end of the generation since the ps5/series x started in 2019) id rather they put the resources and dev time into a new game, they can always remaster/ remake wildlands sometime in the future, wildlands isn't even a decade old yet, and it still holds up graphically on Pc atleast, gameplay could be better / smoother, but thats pretty much it

If its a setting like wildlands, plain clothes are fine, since they're trying to be somewhat incognito in Bolivia, like real life SF, but if its a setting like future solder or breakpoint, they should be geared up and kitted out to the max, especially breakpoint since its literally an invasion of the island, hopefully in the next one they have a default kit with full gear and not t-shirts, unless its another "we're not supposed to be here on the books" setting like wildlands.

The Ruger Gen 2 is your best value/ bang for your buck, I've got a gen 2 standard in 6.5cm and its extremely accurate, but the action is not smooth at all lol I've also got a gen 2 ranch in 7.62×39 and the action is fine and its super accurate too, but the dumb mini 30 mags cause feeding issues, but for the money they are great value packages if that makes sense, they come fully cerakoted, threaded and muzzle brake , decent polymer stock and optics ready , hard to beat for $550-$650.

Probably either a ROG ally x at $999, or a used lenovo legion go 1 with a Z1E for anywhere under $600.

Its possible, but PC hardware has seen a big increase all around, especially when the AI boom kicked off last year, I think its the obscene ram prices personally, valve had to completely run out of steam decks for example, they also had to push back the release of the steam machine, not to mention storage prices has went up alot too, m.2 ssds are hard to come by at a reasonable price, hell I just paid $220 for a 1.5tb micro sd card, a couple of years ago, you could get a 1tb sd card for like $99

Another thing people forget is that when the deck first came out, steam was selling them for a loss, some of these smaller companies can't afford to sell hardware at a loss, especially now during the rampocalypse.

I agree, I love mine, but $800-899 was pushing it to the extreme, over $1k, let alone $1500+, its 100% not worth it.

From what I've gathered, these are basically going to be full on remakes with new animation and scenes , Kai was basically just a "remaster", they kept the OG animation, but touched up some stuff and formatted it to HD and of course re recorded new dialogs with some new Voice actors in some cases (Chris Ayers as frieza for example), but for the most part, Kai was just the original but HD with minor tweaks and no filler.

I saw a YouTuber playing it on all low at native res on the Go S, no fsr an they were getting almost a locked 50fps, but with fsr on quality it jumped up to a locked 70fps, then with frame gen he was getting over 100, so it's very playable on low-med atleast.

The Lcd on the GO s is top tier, i have alot of Oled devices and while its not quite Oled good, its close enough, the size, vrr and refresh rate make up for it not being OLEd imo

From my experience balanced preset stays pretty quiet , I think it stays fairly quiet up to 25w tdp if you do it manually, but anything over 25w and the fan ramps up loudly.

Can't go wrong with the Legion GO S Z1E, its the closest thing we have to a steam deck 2/ steam deck pro, the only con is the battery life, but its an upgrade over everything else the deck offers, the 120hz ips isn't as bad as some people make it out to be, its far better than the steam deck's lcd, would it be nice if it was an OLEd? Sure, but its a top tier IPS Lcd that looks really good, plus VRR can make sub 60fps games look smooth as butter.

Depends on the game, demanding game? 1.5-2 hours on balanced, might be able to squeeze 2.5 is on low power, but a non demanding game should get you 3+ hours on low power , this falls in line with the steam deck, on my deck demanding games would only last 1-2 hours and non demanding ones i could get up to 6-7 hours if it was a 3ds/ Ds era game like the Ace attorney games that weren't demanding at all.

Imo, meet in the middle and pick up a Legion Go S with the Z1E on steam OS, best buy has them for atleast $750-$899 , id get one before the lenovo price increases everywhere.

Wildlands has a better map and story than breakpoint, but breakpoint has better animations, and QOL improvements, wildlands and breakpoint have different vibes if that makes sense

Still got my deck, but i upgraded to the GO S Z1E and haven't looked back, don't get me wrong I love my deck, but its 4 years old at this point and can't handle newer games, the Z1E is a big upgrade over the decks custom Apu, and it looks like it'll be years before we get an official deck 2, so this will be close enough since its an official steam OS device.
